What does he want on cable that he can't wait for free on Hulu or stream on any major tv channel's website? Tell him to save the money and buy a better monitor for his computer. I need to hear why he wants cable to justify his reasoning. Tell him to stop being a d-bag and start reading more books. I read a book every 2 weeks. Half the crap on TV is mindless and not worth watching anyway.

I mean I need satellite for Sunday Ticket, League Pass and Extra Innings but that's also because my roommates and I are (Please Use More Appropriate Word) about sports. I'm from Jersey and like the Mets, Jets, Nets, Rutgers and St. Johns. One roommate is from Cleveland is a Browns, Cavs, Indians, OSU fan. Our 3rd roommate is from outside Detroit and likes the Tigers, Pistons, Lions and Michigan. We wouldn't survive without television. It's cheaper to divide cable + those packages by 3 than sit at a bar every Sat/Sun in the long run.

Man I've been busy...The wedding was absolutley ridiculous....I can honestly say the greatest and longest day of my life...

Got back from my honeymoon about a month ago...jeff...I took a trip to the motherland...experienced it all...(Puerto Plata style)...absolutley beautiful...

the last couple of weeks have been hectic w/ family get togethers...been down the shore a couple of times...hit up yankee stadium...need to slow down...(ever hear that song, back in the day...lol... "slow down...")...well thats what I keep telling my wife...I officially locked her out of all accounts, and she is no longer able to shop...lol jk, she's been stellar...we've been buying stuff/redecorating our house, so thats been time consuming...things are just getting back to normal...

so...it looks like you'll be the 4th Nets fan to hit 10k posts...E, Netsforce and VC4pres all doing it...its been great seeing more and more regs...Prelude, some of your posts have me rollin...you have definitely picked up some slack around here...deviljets also looks to be very active...

I saw a joke in someone's sig. about 15 Nets fans...Do we have a top 15 Nets fans club here on Realgm...or top 20?

A poster named TrooperOne came in for three posts. It was a damn good first post.

SeaBassP is a guy that runs a blog called NetsAreScorching and has so far contributed nicely to the board, even posting his contest for a jersey here.

Haha no a few weeks ago I started using random numbers to exaggerate the small amount of Nets fans there are in general. I think I've used 9, 14, 15, 17 and 19. I think 2 people right now have sigs with a quote from me which I am extremely proud of. This site gets me through the work day. I love my job, but I need to blow off work and yap about sports for 15 minutes every 2 hours or I get the shakes.

We got a good group on this board though. It's a small group but I think we all have a lot of respect for each other even if we disagree on things. It's funny, I go through phases where I won't post for like a month or two then I come back and people notice. Makes you feel appreciated you know?

You guys rock.

well, I can honestly say prelude, despite our busy lives coming into play, some of us always find a way to post because of the community of Nets fans here...and its been great to see you utilize the Nets board beyond the draft and offseason transactions...you've definitely come full circle through a whole Nets season and have contributed at such a high level...its great to read your posts while knowing your working on a MBA and at job that can bring the pain...
