Rank your Jazz steroid players

Post#1 » by HolyToledo » Fri Aug 7, 2009 5:37 pm

Since this Lewis steroid issue suspension just came into affect, which top five Jazz players are most likely to be on steroids? and Players in league are most likely.

Jazz Players
#1 Boozer (pimples on Back--Is this whats holding up a Boozer trade)
#2 Harpring (to Kill the Pain is a maybe)
#3 Millsap (big guy but unlikely)
#4 Dwill (Big guy but has always been big so unlikely)
#5 Fess (big guy but he too lazy to even open up a pill bottle)

NBA Players
#1 Lewis-caught with them
#2 Boozer --see coments above
#3 Shaq--some reason i think he is on them
#4 Nene-Big guy and injuries suggest a possibiity
#5 Amare-Too big for such a young guy
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

Well if Boozer and Harpring are on roids, theyre not working.

Roids help you recover from injuries, they dont GIVE you them.

What a stupid thread.

Jazz:

1) Boozer -- Pimples; lack of any sort of scruples that would prevent him from using them
2) Koufos -- Based on pics from this offseason which show disproportionately large shoulder muscles
3) Brewer -- Went to train with Boozer in Miami; see last offseason's muscle gains
4) AK -- If he really has put on 15 lbs. of muscle this offseason, he likely used anabolic steroids
5) ??

Leaguewide:

1) Dwight Howard -- I would bet money on this one; skinny kid goes to hulking monster with abnormally huge shoulders
2) Lamar Odom -- See above
3) Everyone else

I don't think it's a stupid thread at all. With this Lewis suspension perhaps the NBA will finally start talking about PEDs rather than denying they have any sort of problem.

I think there are far too many variables in play to make any sort of blanket statement about PEDs (this goes beyond just "roids") and injuries. There are probably cases where a PED helped a player recover faster from an injury/workout; and there are likely also cases where use/abuse of a PED led directly or indirectly to an injury.

I'm glad Boozer is at worst an expiring contract. John Wall will be his replacement. I even think AK may resign with the Jazz after his deal is up. Millsap will be solid for his contract, but when it's said and done he will be overpaid.

I agree with everything you said except John Wall.

LOL.. Lebron James MUST be atop every list. Dude was like 6'9" 245 and cut like stone as an 18 year old.. and if you believe what came out during last year's playoffs, he's at 270 now. LOL.... people who weight 270 lbs. don't look like that, athlete or no.

Lewis took a supplement with banned substances in it not steroids. There is a huge difference.

You mean the reason we can't move Booz is cause of his pimples?

You are truly a god among men, Toledo.
