I feel terrible for the kid. This wasn't the situation he was supposed to have to deal with.

Byung Yung Kim part two. He might be good against other teams, but this kid is gonna get rocked by the yankees.

Oh well. Fun talking with ya'll for this game. It was a good one, probably gonna be on classic.

Add another classic gem to the rivalry. That was great baseball from both clubs.

Red Sox general manager, calling in to this morning's "Baseball Show" on Comcast Sportsnet, announced that shortstop Jed Lowrie will be placed on the 15-day disabled list with an arm injury. Righthanded pitcher Enrique Gonzalez was called up from Pawtucket to take his roster spot.

Can we get an actual, major league ss this offseason.. please?
Have fun with your sore vag in Rhode Island Jed, I hope to never see you in a Sox uni again. Looks like we now have today's Billy Traber though with Gonzalez.

Can't wait to see Bowden, I really like him. I think he has the mentality to last in a place like Boston.

Because any time you have the chance to put an all-star 1b in the outfield with your team circling the drain you have to hop on that opportunity. Duh.

I'm excited to see how Lester does in one of the most stressful situations imaginable you could be put into as a pitcher. I have a feeling we'll be happy with him as usual.

Enrique Gonzalez the newest member of the Pawtucket/NY/dfa train to nowhere, hope you enjoyed your inning.

They finally brought up the one reliever from Pawtucket I was hoping for, Fernando Cabrera, the 20for20 closer. Hopefully they don't get caught in a jam early because he's nowhere near as stretched out as EGon and lil Billy.

Lester needs to be dominant tonight. A clean sweep kills any momentum the sox have.

Well this one's already starting to look like the past two, great starting pitcher and embaressingly inept offense. Awesome.

Jon is serial killer-esque tonight with his demeanor, I love it. Love his pitching too of course, he looks dominant out of the gate.
