Al, ALL-NBA?

Post#1 » by B Calrissian » Sun Aug 9, 2009 2:54 pm

Last year the centers were Howard(598 votes), Yao (354), and Shaq(68). Jefferson had the 4th most votes with 8.
Howard is a lock for atleast 1st or 2nd team. Yao is out for the year. Shaq will probably get a spot again if the Cavs have one of the top records, but then again he will be splitting the minutes with big Z so who knows. Amare is back at center so he will be in the running too.

Do you guys think he will make one of the teams? If so, which one?

No I don't see either one. Due to the delay he will have getting back into game shape following the knee injury, he'll have too much ground to make up. Maybe the following year. Maybe Love will step up to the challenge. 8-)

I think the team being horrendous will be more of a factor than him coming back from the injury. KG was only 3rd team in 06-07 and that was with us winning 32 games and him being an established hall-of-famer already. We'll win like 20 games this year and Al hasn't established himself as anything yet. So i think it's pretty unlikely. And didn't we have this thread like a week ago? Or was that all-star?

Who do you guys see taking Yao's place if not Al?

Casey, there may have been a thread like this a week ago. I haven't been on here in a couple weeks. If this was recently talked about it can be locked.
