Linas Kleiza now possible

With the hunter trade in place, this should free up enough money for you guys to match any reasonable offer. Memphis will do anything. Idiots of the nba

Because we weren't going to before? Seriously what's your point.

No NBA team was going to give Kleiza more than 3-4 million per year.....and we would have matched that sort of offer regardless. The Hunter trade has jack **** to do with Kleiza.

Um, this saves the Nuggets money so they can retain Klieza without paying twice for him (when you take in the luxury tax). I think the Hunter trade has everything to do with Klieza...

We're still in the luxury tax, so we'd still have to pay him double, so to speak.

And just because we got rid of Hunter does not make it any more likely that we're now going to decide to overpay Kleiza. You don't get rid of one bad contract just to add another. If we could have signed Kleiza for a good price before this trade, we would have. If we can sign him for a good price after this trade, we will. The money we will offer is not going to change because of this trade.....so therefore the move did not have anything to do with Kleiza.

That's disappointing.

I knew rejecting LK for Artest was going to bite us in the ass.

Did the Nuggets not just make it to the western conference finals? And was ARtest not just a free agent that left the team he was with. How did not getting Artest bite us in the ass? If anything the team was proven right for not doing the deal, as we did just make it to the WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS and only lost against the eventual champs.

knicks fans know best.. he could have become a good starter, too bad we have melo and j.r. that are ahead of him, in pay rate also.

The guy put up 16 and 6 everytime he started, there are plenty of teams that would kill for that production out of their starting SF.

Return to Denver Nuggets
