Von Wafer to Olympiakos?

Post#1 » by Mr. E » Sun Aug 9, 2009 8:23 pm

I just heard this. Haven't had a chance to go looking for online confirmation. Anyone else hear this?

You can kinda make out what it says.

Or... you could just translate it in google.

EDIT: 5.5 million euros for two years. I liked Wafer. I hope he continues to score 83 every night, going 13 of 14 from 3, like he did for HOU.

at least he won't be lighting us up as an opponent. good luck Von
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

wow - 5.5 USD is pretty much overpaying for Von; 5.5 million euros would have been ridiculous!

I thought it was a done deal he was with Phoenix.

I'm predicting that he's going to set all-time records for the Euro League in scoring, threes made, and attempted. MVP? More like Hall of Fame, if there is one.

Kids are going to grow up wanting to BE Von Wafer. Get ready for a lot of people from Europe naming their kids "Von."

I'll miss him, but not too much. Life goes on in the NBA.

Glad we didn't end up paying too much for him, at least.

I'm wishing we had freaking KWSN-Men here to shine some light on the details.

Damn fool and his GB mod baiting.

OLY and Von Wafer have a contract agreement, no official details have been released yet.

As a Knight fan as well, very happy to see Jermaine Taylor probably get a minutes boost.

I knew that KWSN-Men had been banned from the General Board, but I didn't know that he was banned here, too.

That sucks - I liked his info on International Players.

Did I read correctly that his contract has a player option for the second season? If that is the case then the extra playing time will be valuabe should he decide to come back to the NBA.

Good riddance! I admit, I will miss his spark he provides off the bench, but I will not miss brick city and his attitude. Dont you guys remember when Coach sent him to the locker room for being detrimental to the team during the playoffs.

He's obviously a scorer, but all he would do is chuck up shots. When they went in, he looked good; But when he was off, you would really wish he wasnt playing on your team.

And I agree, it's the NBA, life moves on!

I guess everyone has different takes on this douche bag, because I have had several bad run ins with him. I think he is good at giving ideas, but he does a poor job at being complacent with them. He would always shed more than the light on his ideas to the point where he thought he was always right and you could never win. He even started the thread about how Vsuck (Vspan) will always be a better player than Tmac and other NBA greats. The douche bag just wouldn't shut up about it, so annoying. Anyways we had several other run ins down the line and now its good to see he is banned. He will not be missed......
