Sony Vaio - http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp ... pe=product

Which should I get?

I do IT work and I've gotta say, Sony Vaio's are horrible to work on when they break down. Vaio laptops are notorious for the trackpad to malfunction. You can look up online and see complaints how the trackpad on Vaios will not work. One of my IT buddies use to work for Sony's tech department in Irvine and San Diego tells me never to get one after working there.

You can find more deals online. I recommend Lenovo's or on the low end side, Dells. Never HP's as they are crap.

Hey Ty, CONGRATULATIONS!!! I know there's a lot of mixed feelings...stress, anxiety, fear, and happiness. I was in the same boat 4 years ago. When the day finally comes, you'll see it's truly a blessing. These things just come out of nowhere, but it will work out.

As for me, I married my son's mom. She turned out to be THE ONE. Any woman that can put up with my crap is a keeper. I ended up having a baby girl with her too. :eyebrows: We're now expecting our 3rd child, and he's due next month.
We did our part in starting the next generation of SoCal sports team fans.

Im planning to take my girl out on a little romantic dinner once we get back to SB in a month or two. I was looking at Cold Spring Tavern where I know you play and it looks like a really nice place. Can you give me a quick little overview on the place? Im looking for something with an intimate setting that wont set us back too much as far as the wallet goes. Something affortable. Any other reccomendations around teh SB area? I'd highly appreciate.

Thanks man, and hope all's well.

Do you need a room or just an food and romance? Cold Spring is rad, but there aren't rooms and dinner for two can be around 40 with some wine on the cheap or if you get the game plate or something from the main restaurant could be 80-100 in a hurry.

Here's the menu page but check the whole site: http://www.coldspringtavern.com/menu.html

If you need a room... cheap would be the Sandman Inn on N State

Let me know what you need as far as accommodations or just dinner and a good time etc... and I'll figure out something good.

Thanks for that CC.

WHat Im looking for is just dinner and a good time on the cheap. Something romantic. No room needed. Really appreciate the help man.

edit: And Ty, congrats on the blessing man! You have a great attitude on the situation, and I do believe everything will work out perfectly with the little one.

Well, you might consider going to the palms in Carpenteria for dinner then up to Cold Spring for music and drinks, or you could do Cold Spring's non fancy menu which is solid bbq sandwiches, chili, and such. Cold Spring is definitely a beautiful spot just to be and hard to go wrong.

Same with me in a way. Ive been watching it since UFC 1 but never followed it like a sport until now. Now im pretty much up on everything but I had to do alot of cramming and question asking from my friend.
Now it's my 2nd fav sport behind bball.

You got a favorite fighter or have any predictions on tonight? Im thinking Griffen is gonna take it and Kenny is gonna get murdered but he is really tough so the ref might have to call it or he will lose heavily by decision. Thoughts?

Oh and I think I hate Brock but unfortunately he aint going nowhere. He might be the guy you love to hate for another 4 years.

i've been a fan of UFC since the crazy no weight class days where roy gracie would breakout submissions out of nowhere. its the reason i chose to wrestle in high school. i don't follow all the ultimate fighter shows but i catch all the big ppv events.

as far as brock, i'm a fan of his. he went crazy after the last fight, but guy is just a showman playing his role. i'm hoping forrest can take down silva, but i wouldn't count on it. i hope bj penn destroys florian.

Penn is definitely one my favorites.

Don't have any predictions - not enough knowledge of the sport - but I hope Griffin beats Silva.

Yeah I followed it alot during the Gracie days but I hated it then compared to now because Gracie to me made it boring. Now I know a little more.

Following a series is impossible for me.

The Lakers is the only series I follow. Haven't missed a game the last three years.

When I don't work long days, I occasionally watch Monk, The Daily Show, Real Time Bill w/ Maher, SNL; and that's about it.
