So long Alexia. I really thought you'd kill sh*t this season, but it was more of the same. Best of luck in the southside.

Bautista outplays his contract by more than $70 million over the next four seasons (2013-2016).

Women now have less of a reason to attend/follow Jays games. It can be a good or bad thing.

He's a really talented player. I think he'll do well in Chicago.

Yeah, he'll do well in that park... Imagine, just two years ago Rios was being bandied about for Cain/Lincecum and now we're letting him go for nothing. Garghhhhhh

How were you "never a fan"? The guy was a really good hitter for 3 years who's having an off year so far this year. More importantly, he was a terrific fielder, possibly the best OF in baseball from 06-08. And the contract he signed was and still is very reasonable. Some people will just never be satisfied I guess.

I'm gonna miss Alex, this team is gonna miss him badly. **** I hate this ownership so much.

PEACE Alex!!

I wasn't a fan of his after watching that vid, I would always get a bad feeling in my stomach whenever he got a hit.

He wasn't worth the money, he was full of potential and only lived up to it in that one season.

i appreciate the time you misplayed a fly ball at Fenway and literally scooped the catch off your glove and over the fence for a home run.

I hate the guy aswell, but you can take away the fact that he was a pretty good feilder.

His bat however was horrible and was almost a guaranteed out at many times

i hope and pray he continues to crap out. he seemed uncomfortable with the pressure to perform up to his contract. if he couldn't handle the pressure here, he'll die in chicago

Eh...not really.

I won't particularly miss him, but not having a guy with his skills could hurt this team for years to come. Especially as we watch Vernon Wells get worse and worse in CF with no replacement in sight.

He'll do well when he's allowed to be a linedrive leadoff hitter playing in centrefield.

quick question for you:

on average, how many Jays' games do you buy tickets for per season?
