The Dallas Mavericks are pushing to move Rod Strickland pretty hard.

Rod Strickland is also on the block

19.2 PTs/9.5 AST/3.5 REB is his averages over the 4 year span.

4 years/21.72 million left on contract.

Misses 20 games in 94-95 and 95-96 (available for play-offs both years) and only 6 over his last two seasons.

A future pick would snag him.

Chicago is looking for a big man with some defensive tendencies. Scoring optional.

The Hornets are interested in making some moves, not sure exactly which direction we are looking to go, but willing to listen to all offers. With Zo and LJ ready to become superstars and adding another young guy in Laettner, we are thinking of staying young. But willing to listen to everythin

Spurs looking to add another piece or two from teams looking to tank or win later. Open to a variety of moves.

Popeye Jones and David Benoit are on the block.

While they aren't star players, they are very solid role players that could help put a team over the top.

Updated list of people I could potentially trade:

Rod Strickland--All NBA level PG, excellent distributor, very nice contract
David Wesley--Lights out shooter and scorer
BJ Armstrong-- lights out experienced shooter
Steve Kerr--one of the greatest shooters ever
Toni Kukoc--Sixth man of the year the next season, obviously a near all-star level starter.

Obviously most of the lesser players could be dealt as well. I'm looking to tighten my rotation with a nice, versatile back-up wing and upgrade my big man position. Future picks to be considered as well, but preferably out to 99 to coincide with my rebuilding phase.

Edit: Have an offer for Strickland that I like and I will be moving him tomorrow if I don't get a better offer. This makes Wesley more valuable to me than before, but still gettable, Armstrong is being heavily shopped for Pittances, and Kukoc is still available.

I was actually eying some of your bigs, but wasn't sure how you wanted to proceed. I will email you tonight/tomorrow (two days off...in a row!) If you've got any preliminary thoughts fire them at me.

Eh, I'm still up in the air of what to do with this team. With quite a few immediate advances in talent from a few of the current contending teams (yours included) I might look to get a bit younger if the value is there.

I think we should cut the third round, the talent pool will literally die in the mid 2nd round, to the point where we're making picks that's harming our team. I'd even think about getting rid of the 2nd round with this rate, but could see the reason for having it.

That being said, Terry Mills is on the block, could be a nice piece for cheap, a PF that can stretch the floor and rebound adequately. Roughly 15/8 the current season (1.5 three point makes on nearly 39% from distance). The next two seasons he makes one three point per game at a 40% clip, and the next season well over two-three pointers per game on OVER 40% from distance.

I agree on cutting the 3rd rd and just having a waiver wire as to reward active GMs. Im also not opposed to ending the draft after 1 rd as to not allow teams to get so stacked.

Any GM that wants to waive there 2nd or 3rd picks needs only to post it and let us get on with it.

No offense to Sabas, but we reallllllyyyyyy should ask Skorff if he would be willing to comission another game.

I've never seen a game where a participant also be the commiss ever be successful before

I agree with Warspite. Let's just end the draft now and have all those contracted players become free agents or waiver wire picks.
