Cleveland accepts. While we did have to acquire Carrolls long contract to do so, the Cavaliers are pleased to be able to acquire a contract like Dampier's that is fully unguaranteed. We are also able to consolidate talent in this deal, basically trading three perimeter players for one.

Upon league approval of this deal, the Cleveland Cavaliers immediately waive Erick Dampier and his unguaranteed contract.

Dallas accepts, we want to cut salary for next year and we do that by getting rid of carroll

Cleveland accepts. We save a small chunk of cash and acquire a player in a position of need while also getting younger.

Chicago and Philadelphia agreed to a trade

Ben Gordon - 10 million
Brendan Haywood - 10 million
Total 20,000,000

for

Chris Kaman - $12,200,000
Kelena Azubuike - $6,315,840
Total = 18,515,840

Chicago do this for upgrade in starting C position in exchange for downgrade in my 6th man. We wish BG and BH well in Philly.

Accepted.

we HATE losing Kaman, but at the same time bringing in a player like ben gordon could not be passed up. Azuibuike would have been a nice fit, but BG will be better.

Gilbert Arenas is on the block.

The Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat have agreed upon a trade.

Indiana sends Raja Bell ($3,00,000) and Corey Brewer ($3,702,000) in exchange for Stephen Jackson ($8,453,250).

Miami Outgoing/Indiana Incoming: $8,453,250
Indiana Outgoing/Miami Incoming: $6,702,000 X 1.25 + 100,000 = $8,477,500 > $8,453,250

Indiana accepts, well living in the bay area, I'm a bigger Jackson fan than most, he's a good defender, solid three point shooter, and can act as a secondary or third ball-handler on the team. He brings the same role as Raja Bell, except with a better ability to create, and additional size, which we felt was needed next to Rondo, who's on the smaller side in terms of PG's.

Miami waives Stephon Marbury.

Miami accepts. With the acquisition of Ray, we felt that SJax would be a hinderance on our future salary situation. With this deal, we add a little bit of youth while saving some future money to be spent elsewhere.

Denver and Charlotte have agreed to a blockbuster trade -

Nuggets Trade/Bobcats Receive:
Chauncey Billups $13,150,000
Corey Maggette $9,600,000
Shaquille O'neal $6,500,000
Total: $29,250,000

Bobcats Trade/Nuggets Receive:
Andre Igoudala $12,200,000
Andre Miller $6,315,840
Jermaine O'neal $5,848,000
Total: $24,363,840 x 1.25 = $30,454,800

Why the Nuggets do it:
I get under the luxury tax while staying competitive. I might not be competing for the championship this year, but I will have several years to add better players around Anthony, Igoudala, Stuckey, and Perkins.

EDIT - Math added.

If the previous deal is accepted Cleveland and Denver have come to an agreement on a trade.

Nuggets Trade/Cavaliers Receive:
Andre Miller $6,315,840

Cavaliers Trade/Nuggets Receive:
Mike Bibby $6,315,840

Why the Nuggets do it: With Igoudala's lack of three point shooting I feel that Bibby is a better fit in our starting five.

Cavs accept. We have a scoring point in Felton. Miller is more of a passer.

SORRY FOR THE DELAY****

Charlotte accepts deal with Denver. Andre Iguodala is a great talent and we'll definitely regret trading him in the future but, we needed a few more tweaks in our roster to compete with the other elite teams in the east.

Are you going to approve the final two deals?
