Preseason Game Thread: Browns vs Packers
I know its a little early, and someone can lock if need be, but I thought the board could use another topic, and with the state of the Bucks and Brewers boards...
Things I'm excited to see:
First and foremost, our first glimpse of the 3-4. I really wanna watch Kampman specifically and see how comfortable he looks on the field. Also, I am intrigued by the reports of Desmond Bishop outperforming Hawk so far in camp, so to see that transpire on the field would be cool.
I want to see if Brian Brohm can show any inkling of someday being an NFL starter. A killer preseason from him would be awesome, especially if we can turn him into a first day pick in next year's loaded draft.
The backup running back battle should be fun to watch. I really like all of our backups, save for Sutton who I haven't seen at all. That should be a position of relative strength this year, especially if Grant can be somewhere between his 07/end of 08-09 form.
Jake Allen has been getting a relative amount of hype this camp so he should see a decent amount of time. Also, we get to see if Jermichael Finley is living up to the hype of being "unguardable."
Things I'm not looking forward to seeing:
Our punters, Justin Harrell on the sidelines breathing through his mouth, obligatory fat chicks in the stands, A.J. Hawk looking like The Puppy Who Lost His Way.
Anyways, GPG! and no injuries!!!

Re: Preseason Game Thread: Browns vs Packers
Pack favored by 3 (as are almost all home teams the first week of the preseason).
I just hope no one gets hurt. I really wish they'd cut back to 2 preseason games. But I don't want the regular season expanded and one won't happen without the other.

I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

To echo you two: No injuries, please.
Cannot wait to see the Pack. The 3-4 will be fun to see, though not all the pieces are in place yet. I'm excited to see the offense running again, and am anxious to see Wynn show a bit of what he'd been hyped up for in the past month or so.
Go. Pack. Go!

I'm anxious to see Wynn play. He was moved ahead of Jackson for todays practice so he'll probably see significant action Saturday night. Matthews is still hurt so he probably doesn't play. Jolly too.

Re: Preseason Game Thread: Browns vs Packers
I just moved out of state so I'm not going to be able to watch the game. Hopefully someone can break down the game a bit...who looks good who looks bad etc.

Yeah sorry, Realgm is strict about it. But you're right, Google is your friend, you can find it if you want it.
