Where'd you get this from? Is this just guess?
Iglesias must not be very good.

Re: Depth Chart 1.0
I find it hard to believe that the Bears made a concerted effort to bring in an above average blocker like Gaines and he will not have more of a prominent role in blocking schemes...instead of being relegated to 4th on the depth chart for TEs.
A plea for post scoring is a plausible Bulls plan, but plainly isn't a priority. In response to a post player's dismay about his lack of points in the paint, Paxson said.... "I'm not nearly as concerned about the offensive stuff as he is."

No Tillman???
It also looks like Steltz has fallen out of favor pretty quickly from being the starting FS, what, 2 weeks ago to 3rd string now?

To clarify a couple things..
1) Tillman and Bowman are injured therefor not listed. Obviously Tillman would be CB1, Bowman is a slight favorite for CB3/CB4 becuase of his play at the end of last season. I say 3/4 becuase Daniel Manning has been stated, by Lovie, to play the nickel C-back. Which brings me to..
2) Steltz - He's listed as a third stringer, don't know why? Lovie has said he will slide in to FS when Manning is playing corner. I guess his situational status clarifies Bullocks as the true backup.
Lots of battles for D positions, but I'm sure the offense isn't set in stone either. The WR positions should really have an overall ranking, not split into two positions. Plus all the players split by / are also batlling for second and third string in some cases.

To clarify a bit more, Al Afalava (what the hell) is now the starting FS on the nickel defense(when Manning slides to Nickelback) which means Craig got dropped like a rock.
I posted some notes in the Training Camp thread if anyone wants to read them.

Ah yes, I read that in a few places. Slipped my mind..
Afalava's been difficult to judge. He's conisdered a hard hitter, so he hasn't been able to show his stuff. Watch for him to get ample playing time in the first couple preseason games.
