thanx man...hey, btw, my bro is flying to England this week...I have to find out where he's staying...his girlfriend has family out there...but more importantly he's going to a football match...very jealous...I forget who...next to us being at the 1994 World Cup at Giants stadium where we saw Italy vs. Ireland, and Roberto Baggio (he also was at the Mexico vs. Bulgaria game that went to PK, lucky SOB)...this is going to be an awsome experience for him...

That's awesome! Arsenal play the most entertaining brand of football, also tell him get involved with the crowd, that's the best way to enjoy football, especially since you're American (right?) us Brits will love the fact that you guys are watching real football! ( 8-)

Wow, international footballs are the best to watch, just because of the atmoshpere, plus those Mexicans and Bulgarians are crazy fans, that must've been an experience!

Also he'd love it here, just tell him make sure that when you visit the capital you have money

. Guaranteed he's gonna find something he's gonna cringe for.

yeh we're amercian and grew up watching the English premier league and Italian leagues...we both played in college for a bit...before letting the sport go, more or less...my bro loves EA Sports FIFA, plays all the time...he still follows the English premier league pretty closely...I'll watch the international matches...still waiting for the US to make its run, beating Brazil would of been nice...

I think he'll be rooting for Portsmouth, due to his girlfriend's family...dont want to ruffle any feathers...but I know his favorite team is Everton w/ Tim Howard...

Yeah, I love football, probably is MY favorite sport (no surprise there since I'm British!). But still, World Cup coming up summer 2010, I'm very very excited. I must say though, international fixtures always draws up the best atmosphere, it's uncomparable. Yeah, it truly was a great run, you did beat the best country in the world though, so I guess that's a consolation

My 2 cents. Portsmouth are a good team, but they've let go of too many key players this summer, so as much as I hate to say this because Portsmouth is a wonderful place, I can see them getting relegated. Everton on the other hand has the best chance of breaking the top 4. Well run club from top to bottom. Pure class
