Actually, they would own today players too.

LBJames so far actually really reminds me of Oscar Robertson. Stuffing stats everywhere, redefining what a player of his size and caliber can do in context of previously thought roles for their position, incredible individual accomplishments and team promise, but has not made it to the promise land. No matter the individual stats, 30/10/10, it is not enough. When Oscar retired though he was top 3 all time, some considered the GOAT, and James is on his way to that, but has many more years of delivering to go before he even gets to the top 15.

Never got to see Worthy in his prime. (regularly)

I got a Lakers DVD collection somewhere and I saw him against Detroit during the "back to back" championship run in the late 80s.

Good stuff.

I'd rather get tapes of vintage games... but I don't know how.

Doesn't ESPN Classic have them?

Too bad I can't just download or buy them all somewhere.

That'd be great.

Been at a crossroads when it comes to watching bball; I care, but I'm not big on watching every game.

Winning is the main thing for me.

As long as the championship dream is attainable, I'll watch/follow.

I like a challenge though; the rebuilding years got me more involved with the NBA.

But back on topic... me and Worthy share a post move! :D

I thought I was the only one to ever use it until I saw the dvd about a few weeks back.

I'll post more on this thread after I watch a few more games that he played in.

I'm not big on taping stuff.

I'll look into it.

Thanks for bringing it up, Magic.
