Ticket Plans and Season Tickets

Post#1 » by hands11 » Sun Aug 9, 2009 4:32 pm

I thought there was something like this once before but haven't seen it in a while.

I wanted to start a thread so we get the combined knowledge of the board in one place.

I should also be interesting to see how many people are planning on going to more games this year.

So what does a typical season plan look like ?

What the best value ?

Do people sell tickets to games they can't make ? If so, where ?

there are three plans right now. Full-season, half-season, and all-star (13 games). prices depend on where you want to sit. if you want, i can get some info sent to you.

Just looking for some experienced game going to break it down for the board.

Fellas,

I have full season tickets and my seats are awesome...2 seats, center court (section 111), 15 rows up (row N). I normally sell half of my games to two guys, but they want to purchase less games this year. So, I'm looking to sell a few extra games. I'm willing to sell the games at face value (except for the Lakers game and Cavs game), which is $244 for both seats. Let me know if you might be interested.

Do you know which games haven't already been spoken for?

The only games that are spoken for right now are both Knicks games, both Pistons games, the Cavs game, and the Hornets game. I'm pretty flexible on the rest, although I would probably want to keep the Portland game and at least one of the Boston games. I'm willing to sell the Lakers game but I probably will look to get as much as I can for that one. If you are interested in a particular game, let me know and I will let you know if it is available. Ultimately, I would like to sell 12 more games.

BTW, I really need to sell the first home game of the season. It falls on Halloween night and I will be taking my son out trick or treating.

Gentlemen -

I've got 2 season ticket in section 107 (on the aisle between 107 and 108 - I think it's row Q or so but don't recall at the moment as this will be my first season in this section).

Anyway, the guy I've split season tickets with the last five years just had a baby so he's only going to be attending a handful of games this year. My girlfriend generally can't make the weekday games but I work a few blocks from Verizon so I'm always up for going to the games. If any of you want to buy both tickets or just purchase one and go with me - keep my email in mind:

cfinck11@yahoo.com

We can work out payment in cash via Paypal (if I ever set up an account) or beer when the season is underway.

At the moment I'm planning on going to all of the "big games" but that could all change depending on other commitments and really any game can be had (for the right price). I'm guessing I'll be selling the tix for face or less (basically anywhere from 60-face (which I think is around 90) per ticket).

sounds good, man. I've still got your emails/ phone # so I'll definitely follow up during the season at some point so we can hit a few games together. Oh, and I've got lower level seats this year if you ever want to purchase two seats for you and wifey (I know she wasn't feeling the upper level seats last year :) ).

I'm sure a lot of you got this email but the Wizards started a presale for all of the home games this morning. A lot of the games have some pretty good discounts. I got tix for the Cleveland game, Heat, Bulls, and Nugs....

The Washington Wizards individual game ticket presale will begin Friday, September 25th at 9am. Tickets will be available for ALL Wizards home games.

Regularly priced $75 lower level tickets for most games will be available for as low as $50. Regularly priced $40 to $48 upper level tickets for most games will be available for $20. This special presale pricing will only be available until the presale ends on September 30th at midnight or while supplies last.

Jholmbe1,
just out of curiosity, did you get lowers for CLE?

Hey 'proof, just wanted to say I'm looking forward to seeing you at games

I won't be at the opener, but will attend most games after that.

I tried to get them but they were not available. I think some of the games vs. teams like the Cavs and Lakers were not available at a reduced price. They are probably holding onto a lot of the lower levels for that game to put into packages. I was able to get $50 lower level seats for the Heat game though.

I'm too broke right now to buy tix. Hoping they do another holiday package this year (last year it was two lower level tickets to three games for $200), so I can get in on the action.

Feeling is mutual, jim. My tickets just arrived in the mail today and I found myself getting excited for the start of the season.

I might have to miss the home opener as well (Zerocious, you've got first dibs if I can't make it...I'll email you as the season approaches), but I'll be there for at least 25 games this year (last year was my lowest attendance rate in 5 years and I still went to 22 games).

Jim - I believe you have a family of 4 (apologies if I'm mistaken). If you ever want to take the entire family to a game, maybe we can do some ticket swaps on occasions where either of us have conflicts/ need extra tickets to a specific game. Anyway, just a thought that I wanted to throw out there -- we can work out the logistics in person at one of the games.
