ahahahaha, this is probably the best way of putting it. I wonder what happens when Lowrie comes back from the DL, which it seems like he'll be able to do?? DFA Green?

I wonder if they just wait for Lowrie until September. I don't think they can DFA Nick Green with the uncertainty of Lowrie's health.

I feel terrific about this move so far. Forgot how amazing this dude is defensively. The little bit of offense is gravy. Hopefully I didn't speak too soon.

Anyone else hear he had a no-trade clause for 3 teams, and Boston was one? That's kinda weird, I wonder what had him skeptical about Boston when signing the contract, not enough playing time behind Renteria? lol.
It's good to have, however mediocre, a starting shortstop again. It's been a bit since we've had a guy you could expect to play 5 out of every 6 days. And for this season alone, I'd personally prefer Green as the backup infielder on the playoff roster*.
