Who'd you rather face in Finals(IF)? Celtics or Cavaliers?

IF We happen to again Make the NBA Finals, who would you rather want to face?

Celtics - Big history, rivalry, we lost to them over a year ago. We want revenge back.

Cavaliers - Lebron "The Best Player in the NBA" Shaq, the Bridge Burner.

Me Personally, I much as I hate the Celtics, I want the Cavaliers, take out 2 birds with one stone. How sweet would it be to have Kobe dominate in a series where he shows he's the best in the game against the "Best Player" and make Shaq feel like he should have been in LA.

Cleveland this year because who knows if Shaq will be back next season.

But we have to get revenge against Boston before the "Big 3" are in retirement homes. Give them a 39 point ass whooping of their own.

well first, lets never forget the big IF the lakers are fortunate enough to make the finals for a 3rd straight yr.

anywhoo, i would rather have the lakers as a team get the their glory, not some kobe "best player" statement. lakers lost to the celtics 1 yr ago, celtics have more titles than the lakers, celtics were hurt and couldn't defend their title last yr, bring on the celtics.

Well to me if the Cavs beat the Celtics and then we beat the Cavs that is almost a win vs Celtics anyway.

it's 3 birds in a way because of Shaq, Lebron, and the Celtics will be home watching us beat the team they lost to.

We lost to the Celtics and we didn't have Bynum or Artest/Ariza. In a way we lost to them without our main players. Shaq is gonna talk so much trash to before the series if we were gonna play them and to shut them up would be great.

Also from a basketball standpoint I think we matchup vs the Cavs better. I would love to see Kobe and Ron double Lebron. If we played the C's Kobe would have to chase around Ray Allen all game which would be more draining then helping double a guy even if it is Lebron and they have Rondo driving to the cup who could cause problems, more problems then Mo.

Kobe guarding Delonte West, Moon, and Anthony Parker means alot of energy on offense which means Kobe will have some legendary games in the finals. He would also keep his title of best player in the league over Lebron for at least another year when we win.

The Celtics are a bad matchup for us compared to Cavs though. We can use our length on the Cavs and the fact that they have no scoring inside but Shaq who will be tired.

Cavs have Wallace,KG,Perkins which nutralizes our size and I don't feel the need for payback.
They weren't arrogant about it and there window is gonna be closed in a year or 2 so they won't be relievent without some major moves in 2 years or so.

Lebron were gonna be playing in the finals alot and I would love to start the first win.

Plus Shaq needs to eat crow. Imagine we make him lose in the finals and then we deny him a contract. Face.

Anyone who wants the Cavs over the C's is likely a young fan with little history and analyzes player skill by their dunking ability.

I want the best team in the East bar none, and that's why it's set up like it is.

Cavs - Shaq and Lebron. we get to kill two birds with one stone. This would probably be our first and only chance because I doubt Lebron and Shaq will ever play together again.

Boston - We have waited long enough to get revenge against the Cs for what happened in the Finals in 08. I would hate to wait another season to see it happen though. In a way it would be way to long for the team to be motivated by what happened to them in the 08 Finals.

I agree. But it's a sweet opportunity since Lebron and Shaq are on the same team.

When it comes down to it though, the Lakers never lost so badly to the Cavs, and they are still without a championship. However, the Celtics still have something that the Lakers should feel was taken away from them. And as much as the two games last year were great, I won't feel feel great until it's a full on 7 game series match. I wish the Celtics made it to the finals this year, but they were injured, and the Magic proved to be the better team with that advantage.

Give me the Celtics. For the Franchise, the legacy, and rivalry.

That's right. The 1 year they came close to getting there when we had the Shaq & Kobe era, I was like forget them. If they don't get there, they dont have a chance of winning! Now I regret it daily. I wish they had gotten there so we could have Monkey Stomped them!!!!!!
