2003 New Jersey Nets: Where are they now?

The final buzzer sounded and the San Antonio Spurs flood center court celebrating a victory against the New Jersey Nets.

While the celebrating takes place, the losing team fades into the locker rooms and also into basketball history. Some players still remain apart of the game while others have taken different paths from retirement to accidents. Here is what the last great New Jersey basketball has done since the Finals run and what they are doing now.

The saddest part of the article was in reference to Rodney Rogers...I remember the dirt bike accident but had no idea he was paralyzed from the shoulders down...

During the playoffs, they had a pre-game special about Chris Webber going to visit him and spending the day with Rodney. They apparently were really tight from the days in Philly. Gotta feel bad for Rodney. He was a solid player and did a lot of work in the North Carolina community.

yeh I was a big fan of his at Wake Forest...love the leaping ability at his size during his early years...and was estatic when he came to the Nets...I would love to visit him if I was ever in his area...my heart goes out to him and his family, truly a tragedy...
