Congrats Albino!

Probably your friends are kidding you about your decision. "Oh man, what did you do? Why buy the cow..." My personal favorite is "things change when you get married".

I've been married for almost 7 years now, and let me tell you none of that s h i t is true.
Marriage feels exactly the same as dating except for the joint chequing account, nagging over housework, and the elimination of blowjobs.

My I offer the following suggestions to help you minimize the effects of these 3 things on your overall happiness:

1) Keep an eye out for shopping trips that don't appear on bank statements. It's only a healthy bottom line if all accounts, including credit lines, are being managed responsibly.

2) Find 2 or 3 jobs around the house that you don't hate. For example, dusting, while faggy, is not very labour intensive. Start dusting 10 minutes or so before she gets home, so she can see what a busy little bee you are. Under no circumstances should you ever do housework that she won't notice. Clean out the garage while she's away? Fine, she'll notice that. Vacuum the house? Your efforts are wasted -- she won't notice, and if you try and brag "Honey, I vacuumed the entire house today" instead of getting you a steak and a BJ, you will get a catty remark like "Ooooh. The whole house? I did all the floors and bathrooms yesterday and you don't hear me bragging".

3) Wth marriage comes a house (right Lynch?). God forbid one of you is killed in a car accident, but life insurance is now essential so that the other person can continue on with their lives afterwards. As a childless couple this amount should be enough to pay off the mortgage completely and give her about 5 years of your income. After that, she should have been able to work something out to finance the rest of her life. HOWEVER, you can increase the coverage on her without her ever needing to sign anything. You can even get a policy that pays you 2-3 times the benefit if there's ever an accident. But I've said too much already.

4) A blow job while she's asleep is almost as good as the real thing. Ask Gamble. Just don't get caught.

Good luck and again, congratulations.

Sincerely,

Colonel Angus.

LOL. You guys are too much.

Thanks for the advice. I'll get Gamble to show me his tricks. I know they only work on little girls but I could retool them to fit my situation.
