Wiz Fans Fantasy Football 2009

It's about that time, fellas! Football season is just a couple weeks away and I'm running a league again this year. I know we have some folks from other boards on here discussing their teams but it's called a "Wiz Fans" league for a reason. It's first come, first serve and here's the link:

Here are some things to note:

- League ID is 597003 and the password is "gilisback"
- the number of teams has been reduced to 12
- I'm trying out the new division feature (we'll see how it goes)
- we will be drafdint individual defensive players
- points are given for individual return yards

If this league fills up and more still want to play, somebody can set up another league and post the info in this thread. Let's get it started!

(For those wondering why I didn't just re-invite the same people from last year, I wanted to open it up for those who might be new to the board this year. Also, with the reduction in teams everybody from last year wouldn't have been able to join anyway. Besides - I'm the commish and I do what I want!

Just joined - I would talk trash an all, but I only seem to win Fantasy BBall. So here's to hopin I don't use the draft to pass up on awesomeness in favor of mediocrity like I normally do...

Team Name: Tomorrow's Amnesia

I was in two seasons ago and had fun, but I didn't play any fantasy-football at all last year. Missed it and now I'm in this league and still have to set up one for my people.

My only favor is please stay active! Haha. It sucks when people get easy W's because someone decides not to keep up with their team anymore.

IIRC we had pretty good participation last year. Hopefully that continues.

Took me like 15 minutes to get the Yahoo draft thing to work...wouldn't be surprised if some don't get in.

For those who missed the draft, check out your rosters and see where you might want to pick up FAs or trade. Especially look at your defensive players because the auto-draft doesn't always do well with those.
