Lottery Information:
We will be using the website http://www.random.org/sform.html to generate the draft order. I will get someone who is not in the league to run it for us so there is no bias. If the league fills up quickly, there will be time allotted for everyone to choose their own lottery number for the random lottery. If we get to the lottery day and don’t have the full 16 managers or fill up just before the lottery, you will be assigned the manager number given when you signed up (for example, if you were the 5th person to sign up, you would get #5).

Offline Draft Rules:
Please, if you know who you are taking and can post earlier, please do to help the draft move along quickly so we do not end up going into the season. If we are not getting through picks quick enough, the clock will be lowered.
If you do not make your pick within your 12 hour time limit, your pick is skipped and the draft will move along to the next manager, and the next and so on. When skipped, you can make your pick at any time when you log back in.
If you feel you will not be able to make your pick when your time is due to come up, please email a contingency list to myself or another manager who you trust to make the selection for you.
Once you make a pick, it is final. There is no changing your pick. Do not edit the post you make your pick in.
You may trade draft picks at any time after the lottery. You may also include players in your offline trades prior to the start of the season without experiencing the pending period you will experience during the season.
Once the draft begins, there will be a player moratorium, wherein you cannot mention ANY players’ name that have not yet been selected.

Add/Drop/Waivers:
There will be no waivers. You can add/drop as you please up until the H2H playoffs, with no maximum. During the H2H playoffs, there will be a maximum of 2 add/drops a week.

No Injured List:
Because of the NBA’s new rule where a player on the IL does not have to miss 5 games, Yahoo seems to have done away with

Keeper Info:
At the end of each season, each manager will choose 7 of his 14 players which he will keep for the next season. The rest will go into the free agent pool along with all rookies for the next season. The draft order for the next season will NOT be serpentine format; the team that finished last the previous season will pick first down to the team that finished on top picking last (16,15,14…3,2,1,16,15,14…3,2,1,16). There will be 7 rounds to fill out your roster again. Dates and times will be chosen and posted closer to season 2.
I will keep track of each manager’s keeper list and will post them as we approach the draft for the next season. All drafts will be offline.

ACTIVE MANAGERS ONLY:
The goal of keeper league’s is to make this multiple seasons, so please, only join if you want to be a serious part of this for years to come! Inactive managers will be replaced at year’s end without hesitation.

I am also proposing a couple of roster changes.

1. The champ gets to keep an extra person, and then lose his 2nd round pick. This rule is in my baseball keeper and I think should be here too. Or else, what is the benefit of winning? Picking last for no reason?

2. Changing the keepers from 7 to 6 + a rookie. A rookie would be someone who has played at least 5 games in their rookie season. For example, Oden would have qualified as a rookie 2 years in a row because his first year he played zero games.

These changes would take effect for next year (so draft accordingly if approved)
