Week 5 Bears@Packers - Game Thread
I can't belive we are only 30 minutes from kickoff and I didn't see a game thread.
I expect the Packers to win tonight but this game has me a little nervous because of the rivalry factor and the fact this game is pretty much the Bears season if they want to have at least a shot to chllenge the Packers for the division.
Like I said in the prediction thread I see this game as either a close one that could go either way of the Packers will win by 20+.I don't see a 10pt type of win in this one.
Huge game obviously should be a good one.
BTW Don't kick to Hester.

Wow I just asked if anyone was doing a game thread in the prediction thread 1 second ago.

I see from packernews.com blog:
Two starters -- CB Nathan Vasher and LT John Tait -- are inactive for Chicago. The rest of the Bears' inactives are FB Lousaka Polite, S Josh Gattis, LB Darrell McClover, WR Mike Hass, DT Antonio Garay and No. 3 QB Kyle Orton.
That means Tillman, Briggs, and Archuleta are good to go.

It would be nice to see a two minute drill for our first possession.

In that case I might lean toward a closer game I didn't realize Briggs & Tillman where gonna be back tonight.
Packers should still win though.
This game will be another good test for the Packers, every game this season has been a test but thats how it is when you go 4-12 then 8-8 over the last two seasons. You gotta pass these tests and prove yourself to the league.
Last week the test was could they beat a divison opponet on the road that they should beat.
Vs the Chargers the test was could they beat a solid team at home.
I think the biggest test of the season is if they can beat a solid team on the road,we might see that test till we play @ Dallas.
The test tonight I think is can the Packers beat a division rival that sort of has their backs aginast the wall and a division rival who has won the division the last season.
Do the Packers continue to prove they are for real and win big and pretty much bury that rival or do they struggle and maybe give a Bears team that is down some new life and hope.
If the Packers are a serious contender this is a game they should win big (10 or more) and step on the Bears throats and not let up at any point in the game and bury them and pretty much bury the Bears season,in my opinion.
We'll see the Packers have passed every test this season so far.
