Actually this little blonde I've been chillin with and I kinda like her, she's pretty and got her ish together wants a boob job and I hooked her up with my boys friend who happens to be the surgeon who does all the Vivid girls boob jobs........... SO she calls me and tells me "What do you think should I go ds or dds......... I told her "its up to you", and she told me well I like your opinion since Im doing them for both of us.... haaaaaaaaaaa??? For me??? I told her to go with the Ds since the dds are going to be way to big for her body and Im sure I dont want to sit there and fight every guy that looks at them. So she's getting them done in two weeks. Cant wait.... this girls nice every dept but her puppies are a bit too small and if she hooks them up..... She's going to ROCK. She might be Ms Montana if she plays her cards right.

they have always served shrimp and lobster, but it is not an everyday thing.

Verbal wrote:2. It's sad to hear about what happened with the lunch issue and how it was solved... it's sadder to hear that some fat guy got paid over 100k to be a ballboy. (I'm all ears)
that was just one example, there were many. the saddest part was that KBR was making the most bank for the least amount of work.

Verbal wrote:3. Non-bid contracts? Got any details regarding this? (you don't have to talk about it if it's too much trouble)

this was common knowledge here in the States. basically the government gave bloated contracts to corporations that were affiliated with certain people that ran the government at the time (I.E. Dick Chaney who was the chairman of Halliburton before he was the Vice President) without allowing other corporations to bid to do the same work for less money.

Tell me anytime. :)

there used to be 8 of us that lived in a "pod" built by KBR. one of our guys lost his key. instead of charging the guy 5 bucks to replace the key, KBR charged him a lost key fee of 80 dollars + charged everybody else 20 dollars to replace our keys and change the locks and to top it all off they charged the government the salary for 2 guys to actually change the locks and a supervisor to supervise the removal and installation of the new locks and not to mention the fee for hiring those guys to start with.

I'm very interested moving to SD/OC area, which is the major job hub for my career and I frequently apply to jobs in Cali. I have infact interviewed with QComm, San Diego recently. They just don't seem to have too many openings right now due to the recession.

I can tell you how to read schematics, how to solder, how to troubleshoot CCAs that kind of things, and I am sure Jfar can tell you how to design CCAs, but as far as marketing or sales I couldn't tell you much other than wear a suit and bookmark dictionary.com on your computer (after all sales is all about first impressions right?). what exactly does your friend want you to do?

go for the major companies like SPAWAR, SPERRY, or some of the shipping yards (they are always looking for electronics engineers) even government jobs in Naval bases they always have teaching openings or actual hands on positions that could tie you up until you make enough connections in the field to get your dream job. one thing I can guarantee is that you would make a lot good connections working for the government.

Snaq, I think working for the government mostly demands a security clearance and/or US citizenship, which I don't have. So my best bet is to find a job with a private corporation.

that could be a problem even in private corporations because the most lucrative contracts for private corporations are with the government and they do require a security clearance to work on those projects.

I played golf with a British US Marine reservist on Sunday. He requested to be called on active duty and the government pays him 4500 dollars a month - on top of his salary ( and his regular line of work)

Clearance Shmerance... he doesn't have any and uncle sam pays him more than most officers in the military.

is he a British citizen or US citizen? does his job as active duty require a clearence or not. most places of work are only required to hold your job while you are active, but not pay you while you go away to play Marine. if his job does pay him while he is gone than more power to him, but I have never heard of that before. anyway clearances do help earn you more money and corporations are more incline to hire an electronics engineer that has a clearance. it is not a deal breaker, but it does hold you back.

That's strange actually. He must be on some kind of joint action project with the Brit government but like Snaq said hiring electronic engineers is done very selectively since they'll be given access to flight plan designs, army weaponry etc.. and who knows what a crazy/greedy maniac could do if he had access to that kind of information.

Playing in a local 3 on 3 Tournament all day tomorrow.

Haven't actually played a hard game for about a year but I have played in a couple of scrimmages in the past few weeks.

Jumpshot is still good and worked on my 3 for a few hours today. Looking good.

Wish me luck guys, top team wins $500!
