Yeah, a replay of this game is not necessary, it was just fugly. Unless you liked watching Buchholz totally own our lineup.

One of those runs was horsesh*t, though; Overbay CLEARLY got Youk before he touched the bag.

Also, Scutaro made an AWFUL play at second despite a great throw by Barajas that should have caught the runner stealing, but Marco was ahead of himself and tried to tag before securing the ball. Then later, Encarnacion (I think?) dropped the ball instead of tagging out the guy at second when he came off the bag.

Ugh. This was a comedy-of-errors type game, just ugly. Buchholz pitched well, so that was fun to watch a little, but MAN we looked bad. I guess he needed luck to be on his side after pitching well twice but facing Verlander and Sabathia.

Is it just me or do the Jays have a nasty habit of jerking Scott Richmond around too much? The guy hasn't pitched in 9 days and his next start is still 3 days away. The guy is surely a better pitcher than Zip and Cecil at this point of time. Heck, the managed to give pieces of crap like Jennsen, Carlson and Tallet relief work during the past few days. Surely they could have given richmond an inning or two here or there to keep him sharp and in groove.

I always get the impression that Cito doesn't trust Richmond as much he trusts the other starters. Heck even Tallet and Jennsen seem to be in Cito's good books. Richmond is probably our 3rd best pitcher behind Doc and Ricky and can't seem to get into the rotation consistently.

I hate seeing crowds of the other team showing up and letting them get to see a good show. The sad part is that most of them are local bandwagon sox fans.

My first game (both live and actually watching a full game)... let's just say I'm glad I don't follow the Jays like I follow the Raps.

Barajas batting 4th = supreme failure.

There's been a litany of names that have hit 4th this year. It'll be Ruiz turn sometime next week, and Travis Snider's after that, lol.

Who'll be cleaning-up the next day is just about as unclear as the future of this franchise.

Bautista outplays his contract by more than $70 million over the next four seasons (2013-2016).

It'll be far from ideal when it happens, but both of those options are far superior to Barajas. Yes, Ruiz too. And I like Barajas, for a 9th hitting catcher. His OBP is .269, frighteningly bad. I'd rather have Snider there any day of the week.

Rod Barajas batting clean-up. Wow.

If there was ever a concept of tanking in Major League Baseball, then Cito Gaston is trying to master it.
