naw i dont see FO doing so, honestly I'd love to keep him. We just wouldn't have any minutes for him.....

PG: BD, Telfair, Collins
SG: Gordon, RD, Butler
SF: Butler, Thornton

He is a good fit though, one of my faves last year no doubt!

Bricky Davis will never be an immediat backup!. Get us back some Jones so we have a backup SG.
If the Clippers win the championship next year I'm getting banned from RealGM

I'd like to have Jones back as well, he played well for us last year.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Jones was solid for us last year, and I liked him off of the bench. He was hungry and played with a lot of heart. I wouldn't have minded having on the team again this season, but I don't expect to see him back. If Novak is retained, we're at 14 and that seems to be the magic number. Wherever he ends up, I hope the best for him.

Freddie is a non-issue now with Bassy & Ras on board but props to him nonetheless for everything he gave us last season.

He's very serviceable @ both guard positions.

I've read that he has signed a 1-year deal with Biella Angelico.

Fred was a bright spot for us last season, always played hard and would always push the ball, had to be one of the team leaders in fast break points. Dumbleavy probably say that as a negative. I wish him the best.

I liked Fred Jones last year. He showed he has a lot of game left. I don't know how teams forgot about him.

I think he'd actually do very well on a team like the Lakers. They need a PG too, big time.

Damn. I really wish he would have stayed in the NBA. It's all about the money.

The 6-2, 225-pound guard Fred Jones has agreed to terms with the Italian team Biella Angelico. The American has officially agreed to a one-year deal.

In 2004 Jones won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest, beating out ex-champion Jason Richardson.

Jones was a member of the Indiana Pacers, the Toronto Raptors, the Portland Trail Blazers, the New York Knicks and last season he played in Los Angeles for the Clippers.

Last season Jones appeared in 52 games for the Clippers and totalled 7.3 points, 2.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.

Good luck to him. He was a stand up guy, and was a solid player that still has a few good years left in him. If there is one place I would like to play in Europe, it would be Italy. He's gonna be eating good all the time now. Hopefully he pulls a Singleton and after a year or two in Italy, he comes back to the NBA.
