3way jazz pistons knicks

Post#1 » by Rolexking23 » Sat Aug 22, 2009 3:57 am

Detroit fan here wondering what you guys think
this is MY idea for a 3-way deal involving detroit utah and new york

Detroit:
Out: Rip
In: Eddy curry OR D.lee and filler
Utah:
Out: Carlos boozer
In: Rip
NYK:
Out:Eddy curry OR D.lee and filler
In Boozer
Detroit gets fortified downlow
Utah gets a scoring 2
NYK gets a big expiring

No need to get the Knicks involved. I think Detroit would be better off having Boozer(Even as a one year rental) than Eddy Curry. Can't say the same about David Lee though.

I think a better team than the Knicks could be involved. Something like Brad Miller+Tyrus to Detroit, Rip to Utah, Booze to Chicago.

Evidently, Hamilton still has some fans. Given the fact that Hamilton costs Boozer money, and beyond just this season, thoughts of the Jazz acquiring him should be immediately rejected. I honestly don't even know how that could be suggested.

Actually I'd take the new improved curry over the vastly injury prone boozer. Also curry gives us something boozer doesn't he gives us 2011 expiring next to Tay and wilcox. He's also 26 and his contract is 2yrs shorter thAn rips
also I'd take this deal for lee in a heartbeat

actually they would only pay the tax this year as korver and harpring would come off making their salaries around 67mill

And then are you going to fill those roster spots with minimum players and hope for the best?

Why would David Lee be involved in a sign and trade for an expiring? He is already expired.

because it would get rid of jared jeffries and allow them to get 2 max fas next year as opposed to 1

As long as we have their unprotected draft pick, the Jazz aren't helping the Knicks unless the Knicks overpay us for the privilege of screwing the value of our own asset.
