Madsen Waived. Bring him back home!

Post#1 » by slickgreek » Sat Aug 22, 2009 8:00 am

Clippers end up waiving Mark Madsen, which kind of mind boggles me, but I wouldnt mind his energy on the Lakers again. Obviously he wouldnt bring much scoring, but a nice defensive mindset with energy to pump up the team? I'll take it....

What do u guys think?

Would love to have him back. I'm sure he can be had for the minimum just for insurance.

I wouldn't mind at all. I think Madsen can be that "suicide kid" that we lack. He could play for matchups. I am sure Leon Power wouldn't have abused as so much if we had Maddog on him.

For sure he would sign for the Vet. Minimum to be on the Lakers...

He wont complain about playing time, he will pump up the team, he will do the dirty work....and if we win another ring....we will have another Madsen dance!

I'll pass, the man has only played in 39 games the last 2 seasons after playing in 118 the previous 2 seasons before. He'll be 34 after January. It's a reason the Clippers let him go.

just pay him in used jerseys and towels, he can probably make more off that than actual money

or better yet, make HIM pay to be a part of the Lakers. is that legal?

Oh god no, he isn't worth the minimum when there are guys like McCants and Carney that still haven't signed with anyone.

I was actually serious because I seem to remember reading articles about how well he defended Shaq in practice.
