IT's too bad Sarver wouldn't bite the bullet and do a S & T for Sessions with Pavs and Tucker, the Bucks get more salary relief, we get a real backup PG.

I just find it hard to believe that the Cleveland deal was the best deal they had out of the 15 teams that were interested in Shaq.

Traxxe,

Another question: I posted it in one of the previous pages of this thread and I think you missed it. I would appreciate it if you answered it. Thanks.

1) Are they just waiting in-case they start regretting trading Shaq and then have the deal fall through?

As I said before, the Shaq trade isn't officially or technically completed yet because Pavlovic:

- He hasn't taken a physical

- They haven't waived a physical requirement

- He hasn't been traded

- He hasn't been waived

Perhaps if they find themselves regretting trading Shaq, the deal will fall through and Shaq will return to Phoenix next season.

When will something happen with Pavlovic to officially complete the Shaq trade because, technically, it can STILL fall through...

Thanks!

They waived the physical requirements for Sasha when they released Ben Wallace. You cannot go back on a trade after you have handled it as being completed in a legal capacity. Once a certain time passes the trade becomes official and unless the trade stipulate certain conditions for passing physical at a alter date, what have you... (this one doesn't) then there is no take backs. Since they've dealt with Wallace in any legal capacity as if he were a Sun that legally expresses the trade was accepted.

As i have stated many many MANY times before, i would LOVE to get Sessions on the Suns. He would be PERFECT to take over the reigns when Nash retires. But i highly doubt that is going to happen. I heard the Bobcats are looking to make room to sign A.I, so how about Sasha's expiring for..... i dont know..... say...... RAJA FREAKIN' BELL !!!!!!!! BRING HIM BACK KERR, BRING HIM BACK!!!!!!!!!!!

It makes a ton of sense, which is exactly why it would never happen. Better to have the cash in your pockets.

I'd rather have Diaw back but a straight up trade won't work because of the salary difference.

That would be the best scenario.

From a Bucks perspective, I don't think it makes sense - if they wanted salary relief, they would let Sessions sign elsewhere and just not match (costing them zero).

If they do a S&T of Sessions for Pavs & Tucker, then they are taking back Tucker's salary while having to pay $1.5M to cut Pavlovic.

I think they have plenty of bodies, adding salary for no benefit (Tucker certainly doesn't qualify as a "benefit") contradicts their intentions to acquire salary relief IMO.

Thanks for the info Traxxe.

I had no idea they waived the physical requirement for Sasha because Paul Coro never reported it.

When they waived the physical requirement for Ben Wallace, Coro reported it, but never mentioned anything about them waiving the physical requirement for Sasha.

So I thought they hadn't waived the requirement yet.

Thanks!

Traxxe,

How sure are you that they waived the physical requirement for Pavlovic because Coro (or anybody else) never reported they waived the physical.

Thanks.

What are you trying to get from Traxxe? The Shaq trade is done and is history. They sent us the matching salaries of Wallace and Pavs and if that isn't enough we have already waived Wallace meaning the deal was definitely done. The Shaq trade couldn't have been done without Pavs contract included just as the buyout of Wallace could not be made without Pavs coming to us in the deal.

There is no chance it could fall through. Too much has happened since the trade for the trade to fall through.
