Post#1 » by Nemesis21 » Sat Aug 22, 2009 6:30 pm

Where the hell is this guy ? :dontknow: Have not seen or heard anything on this guy since his disappointing KO loss to Brian Stann.

This guy can't find his way to Dream, Strikeforce or UFC ? :dontknow:

Marshall is fighting on smaller cards now and has not lost since leaving WEC. He is a good fighter and always has exciting fights, I am pretty surprised he has not found a home in another org yet.

No problem. Considering the lack of depth at LHW in Strikeforce, they should be trying very hard to sign Doug Marshall, King Mo, Trevor Prangley, and pretty much any other LHW free agent who can fight.

I agree, especially after seeing Sobral beat so quick.

Marshall can't fight. He's a decent puncher who can't move on his feet very well and swings hard. He'd get obliterated by any under-card fighter in the UFC. And most of those guys would be pretty decent in most outside organizations.

Wish him the best of luck, but he's not that good.

I don't think Marshall would be a contender in Strikeforce, but he is not a bad fighter. He is 10-3 and defended the WEC belt a few times. Not only that, he always puts on exciting fights. Marshall is better than a decent amount of 205's in Strikeforce. No one is saying he belongs in the UFC.

 I agree. And there were some exciting fights with him, was not saying he should be in UFC but he should be in one of the smaller major organizations.

Marshall should have another loss on his record. Jaime Jara beat him fair and square at PFC and somehow the ref allowed Marshall to get away with grabbing the ropes anytime Jara tried to take him down. Even the fans booed the crap out of the judges split decision win for Marshall. Marshall is an aggressive, non-technbically sound muay thai striker with a subpar ground game. He's got no business in any top organization.

He is as good or better than a handful of the 205's in top organizations. Even if he was just brought in to have good fights like a Lytle, Baroni or Houston Alexander he is worth having.

He's like Houston Alexander with down syndrome. "He's gonna get knocked dead!"....seriously what kind of douche bag talks like that?
