There's not much to argue here, Florida is by and large the favorite to take the whole thing... again. I'm honestly not too sure how deep the Gators are on the defensive side of the ball, but as long as Tebow stays healthy and can score his usual 4 TDs a game, I don't see where they can go wrong.
What I think about the best of the rest:
- It'll be fun to watch the Big 12 this year, as OU and Texas will have a very entertaining battle to watch. The Sooners could be in for a tough one on the 5th as they take on a very scary BYU team.
- BYU has a very good shot at getting through to the BCS Championship with a win vs. OU and FSU, and then running the table through the Mountain West. The only holdup may be that all of their games vs. preseason ranked opponents are at home or on neutral ground.
- I have this eerie feeling we may finally get to see what Tim Tebow can do against USC this season, as I believe the Trojans stacked D will dominate every team they step on the field with. 9/12 brings a visit to The Horseshoe to play Ohio St. (get ready for the Turco/Lakeshow madness), and they also play games @Notre Dame (10/17) and @Oregon (10/31). Take note of this, Pete Carroll and his Trojans haven't won a game in the state of Oregon since 2005.
- Best game of Week 1 will be Bama vs. VaTech. That will be some high octane, hard hitting football, IMHO, will show us who really deserves to be a Top 10 team in the nation.
- My Lee Corso "Sneak-around-the-chicken-coop" sleeper this season: Oklahoma State. They have an offense that can keep up with anyone in America's, it's really just a matter of slowing people down that keeps them from surprising everyone and taking down the Big 12 and making it to Pasadena on the 7th, instead of the 1st.
