Ok BABY!!! it may sound corney as hell, but this is the time of year (last moves most likely have been made) to show optimisim and hope for the year to come. Yes excitement for the coming year, you know like fans do from time to time. No more crying about what could have or should have been, no more stories about Raja, or Boris, Marion, JoJohnson, the glory years that should have been. I am actually excited about the team we have. I mean come on, starters Nash (still one of the best all around point guards in the league). Jason Richardson, i have to apologize, i have not given him the proper chance in my mind. getting prospective on him, outside looking in, when playing against him, he is a very dangerous scorer, easily able to get 25-30 on a given night, our team was in such termoil last year how can i hold the year fully against him. With no Shaq and a completely uptempo ofense,(all 5 not that stupid 7 secs or shaq) he will flourish i am sure. Grant hill is a freak of nature. He played in all 82 last year with all the bull crap going on with the team, how many small fws can you say outplayed him, the man is a solid vet, can do a little of all, post up, shoot pass and defense he was not the weak link. Amare is going to be a beast, in this his contract year, i am glad people are counting him out, i think it will make him work harder. Also with Shaq Gone, no longer clogging up the lane amare is going to do his thing. Channing fry just fits, long, can run, moves without the ball, wont clog the lane, can stick the short jumper and even if not good defensivly, will always atleast show on the defensive pick and roll and atleast get in the way, unlike Shaq. Big guy who can run, shoot, and knows his role. to all the cats downing what he did in protland, he didnt get playing time and he didnt play with nash hill and amare, this situation is diffrent. For the first time in a long time i am excited about our bench, we have a very young potentially talented bench. Remember when we had Outlaw comming off the bench to play d and bother people, Jared Dudley is that guy, and he has the potential to be a good ofensive weapon. we also have a lot of young upside, Lopez will be better than people are giving him credit for, as will Dragic, they were rooks give them a chance. also I love Loue, and the potential of Clark, We have Skill starting and Hustle off the bench, this is going to be fun to watch again.

If we can add one more big, even if it is Stro Smith, to round out the bigs, give him a full training camp to acclimate, with the small teams we run, i can see a healthy stro running along side amare both 6"10, both athletic, Stro with a slight mean streak, just throw the ally oop in the air, one of them will come down with it.
