Carmelo anthony talking on espn that he want to play for the puerto rico national team.we already know he is halve puerto rican but im lokin for a link of this thanks guys.

Melo did say that he would play for the Puerto Rican national team prior to his 1st olympics. but once he played internationally for the United States team, i do not believe he can play for another country.

There was talk about it a long time ago before he got the team USA invite. He's half puerto rican and has a tattoo of the flag, but doesn't speak a lick of spanish and has never been to the country. Your info is about 3 years old.

Well i know that but the thing is tha like 2 days ago my friend saw that on espn.we know he doesent speak spanish but yea he have come to the island to see his grandmother. If is truw ok if not ok lol thanls guys

I was under the impression that Melo did NOT want to play for them when Arroyo tried to recruit him.

I was also under the impression that you could only play for one nation in that sport.
