To be fair, they probably have no idea who Trevor Ariza is, let alone that he signed with Houston, because they're busy talking about Brett Favre, the Yankees, and the Red Sox.

Can you blame them? I think not.

(Ariza did receive 1 vote though)
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

I think Quentin Richardson was the best, then the worst, then the best again signing this summer

ESPN is going to look silly when the Rockets get the #8 seed and they haven't shown any Rockets games to showcase them.

ESPN also said we would lose to the Blazers in the first round.

Rockets > ESPN. Sorry McGrady2Head

We shall see. Past experience has shown me that you're usually the correct one in our arguments, but I really have a hunch this time!

Also this thread was mainly just another 'the offseason is boring so take what you can get" thread, or I wouldn't be challenging BSPN's opinions - "Home of the Hollinger".

<-------Also not a huge fan of Ariza....

One good playoff campaign doesn't change the fact that he's been mediocre his whole career.

That network has an almost savant-like ability to detect and destroy talent. They're like a black hole of creativity.

How Simmons still has a gig is a mystery for the ages.

Simmons has a gig because he's a great writer plain and simple. Funny, honest and direct.

I agree quite a bit with his criticisms and that Darryl Morey is the model GM.

...which is why I'm shocked ESPN hasn't fired him yet.

meh.. we'll just have to wait and see. i dont think he can create his own shot. its going to be hard for me to watch a former laker player wearing houston uniform.

Gotta love ESPN they have 53 experts who agree that Shaq, Ron Artest, Rasheed Wallace, Trevor Ariza, Hedo Turkoglu, Emeka Okafur, and Shawn Marion are all the best or maybe worst additions to their team.

Laker fan here, don't bother listening to BSPN. Ariza is a great get for you guys at the MLE. He'll be another Shane Battier type of player who knocks down open shots, plays consistent D, and is a team player. Sad to see him go, but he'll do great with the Rockets.

Return to Houston Rockets
