The Jazz radio or television guy.

Post#1 » by tha_rock220 » Wed Aug 26, 2009 3:15 am

As a Rockets fan I can't stand the Utah Jazz. That said, I was watching some youtube videos and I noticed a voice with a real strong accent. It sounded like he was on the radio. He was a very good broadcaster. He complimented opposing players, wasn't afraid to be impartial, and he did an excellent job of calling the action.

Long story short, who is he????

As a Jazz fan I can't stand the Houston Rockets. That said, maybe Hot Rod Hundley. Why dont you post the link and it would help more.

P.S. The Rockets suck. Sorry, but its true.

Bolerjack is a very impartial broadcaster. He is always very complimentary of opposing teams players. Is probably because of all the Football he does for CBS.

Craig Bolerjack is the Jazz's TV play by play man.

Hot Rod Hundley was the Jazz play-by-play guy on Radio and TV for 30+ years. The last couple of years, Craig Bolerjack (who also calls football for CBS) has been doing the TV while Hot Rod does radio. Sadly, Hot Rod retired at the end of last season.

It might have been Gordan Chiesa I supose. Although I thought he moved on to greener pastures.

I love listening to that guy. He's got a great voice.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Boler called the Jags/Dolphins preseason game last week. Dude got pretty fired up when Sean Smith (from USU) got a pick.

Yeah, Boler has that strong West Virginia accent. Of course it was Hot Rod.

Did you just say Sean Smith is from USU? Sorry I couldn't let that slide.
