Re: Anthony Randolph vs. Michael Beasley
Beasley just hangs out on the perimeter and shoots jumpers, his offensive ceiling is easily reachable.

A lot of people in this world take medications and live very successful lives. Ignorant statements like this make me question some posters intelligence on this forum.
Sure and some people take meds because they are a complete wreck.
Pardon me for taking the side of caution here.

I'll take the more sane player, which at this point is obviously Anthony Randolph.

Re: Anthony Randolph vs. Michael Beasley
Beasley's got talent, thats for sure. He's a good offesive fix for a team, but you cant ignore what Randolph brings to the table. He will easily be a better all round player. Take a look in the kids eyes. He'd eat his siblings if it meant winning a basketball game.

Don't be silly. Randolph MIGHT reach 13.9 PPG next year (what Beasley scored as rook).

Re: Anthony Randolph vs. Michael Beasley
I can't wait to bump this in April...
Its funny that the only people that are saying the 6'7'' guy is better are Miami fans...
And to the person that said Beasley would've had 20+ ppg if he was with the Warriors??? HAHAHAHAHAHA....he wouldn't have even played. Nellie would've had his mind so **** he would've been in rehab last February.
Anyone who saw Randolph in March in April consistently would laugh at anyone arguing the Beasley has a higher ceiling. I applaud the Heat homers though...good for you for sticking by your man...I'd do the same if my team blew it on a number 2 pick.

Beasley would of been found in November hanging from a noose in the warriors lockeroom . No way SuperCoolBeas could have the fortitude to withstand a full frontal Nellie verbal assualt .

Last time I checked Anthony Randolph isn't exactly the picture of mental toughness... Need I post the clip where Lamar Odom makes him cry?

I saw that clip and it's crap. Tears weren't actually rolling down his face.

That's just what his face looks like. It's always like that.

Beasley had to be checked into rehab because some people made fun of him on twitter.

Yeah, didn't he say something like he wanted to end his life?
As for the answer to this question, it's clearly Randolph. Much more tools to work with, and his in game athleticism is better than Beasley's.

Re: Anthony Randolph vs. Michael Beasley
Wow, Golden State fans are reaching a new low. Seriously, we're talking about a 20 year old kid who needs help. You guys are practically rooting for him to commit suicide just to prop up your guy. That's pathetic.
Come on guys. Even if Beasley were to retire tomorrow, the important thing is that he's able to get his life together and be productive. He's got a child to worry about. Let's not kick him when he's down. This thread can remain, or rather return to something, respectful. Let's just keep it to basketball...
