OT: Rockies/Broncos fans - don't be shy

Post#1 » by MHZ » Wed Aug 26, 2009 7:50 am

Any of you fine gents who watch the live in Denver/watch the Rockies, should try to work your way over to the Rockies board. The MLB forums are horribly slow, but we're doing our best to take advantage of the current Rockies run and increase a little traffic on that board.

So if anybody checked it out and saw nobody there and hasn't come back, try giving it another shot for the postseason run.

Same can be said for the start of the Broncos season (although far less exciting).

The Rockies are playing so well!! Its exciting to see them making a run at the Dodgers for the Division title.

I agree with you about the Broncos, even though I think we won't be as bad as last year on defense, I have a feeling its gonna be a long season.

I would, it's just way too much work for me to click the extra couple links to get there. I've just been going to the Row for my Rockies fix.

Whats the Row, i tried to look for it but couldn't find it. I need a better rockies/mlb forum.

Footballsfuture is really good for Broncos if it matters.

It's more so a blog, but acts kind of the same way with game threads and "fan posts" about whatever topics. The last couple game threads have gotten up to like 2,000 replies.

It's part of SBnation, which includes the famous "Denver Stiffs." There is also one for the Broncos, though I've never actually been there(not a ponies fan).

BUMP

Since there is nothing big from the Nuggets, time to talk about the Broncos/Rockies...

Rockies are 4.5 games up on the Giants and 3 away from the Dodgers. I think the Rocks have a chance of catching the Dodgers, but a WC isn't so bad either. Hopefully last series of the season will be huge (at LA).

Awesome win for the Broncos yesterday, we got a lucky bounce, but Stokley made the best of it. Orton looked pretty bad, but the defense had some big moments and held the Bengals to only 7 points!! Next up is the home opener vs. the Browns.

Well, Giants PLAY the Dodgers for 3 games starting Friday, so this could swing either way. Let's say Giants win out and Rockies win out, we've still got a 3.5 game lead in wildcard and would be 1.5 back of the division.

It's a weekend with a potential to have a huge impact.

EY, Fowler, though not tons of playing time have been fairly solid offensively and Fowler's range in the outfield is like no other. Just hoping the Rockies' big bats wake up again and start knocking guys in to score.

That's what I thought about this past weekend. I was expecting us to not blow ass in San Diego....and was hoping the Giants could do something decent against LA at home. But both were major failures. That was our opportunity at the division, and we blew it. The best we can hope for is the WC, which we should be easy to hang onto.

Return to Denver Nuggets
