You don't care that one of if not the biggest sports magazine rates us number 4 when we got better?

They're going to become less and less significant if they continue to use those awful justifications for their picks. Reminds me of all those 'experts' during our 17th title run. Can careless though because its all opinions, thats why the season/post-season is played, to prove these people wrong.

Seriously...how did that Lakers not improve by swapping Ariza for Artest? I mean at least in the shortrun...this guy a moron.

Well basically this idiot is saying that the Lakers had a proven team with Ariza, why fix something thats not broken theory........ Well the Lakers already knew what they were getting into with Ariza's agent since he was Bynums agent and when it came to Bynums contract with his agent Mr Douche bag David Lee we were prepared for it. So we threw an offer at Ariza and his agent said no and we simply moved on since we already knew R-test had wanted to be in LA and was willing to take a fair amount of money to play in LA. We ran with it.

Now you have the entire world saying that R-test is bad energy, he isnt going to work in our system and he is unpredictability on and off the court might become a big distraction for us -- one that could jeopardize our chances of a title repeat.

And I believe thats the same reason he has you guys ranked fourth (Rasheed). Its just he wouldnt come out and say that since he already has used that line on R-test. So he basically cameout and said that you guys are lacking a good backup P.G, and we all know that you guys are pretty set with your lineup.

Meanwhile he is dingling on the Spurs and Cavs as the next two team to meet in the finals. I think this is the same idiot that picked the N.O and the Cleveland to play in the finals too and N.O to win last year finals.

Either of the top 5 teams can win it all. It will depend on health, chemistry, and a little luck.

I bet you guys that the Spurs fans would say that they are going to win it all. The Lakers fans will feel their team is going to win it all. Same goes for the Cavs fans, and Magic fans.

It should be a great and exciting year.

My Rankings---Based on 100% Health:

1-Boston
2-Los Angeles
3-Cleveland
4-Orlando
5-San Antonio
6-Denver

Maxwell I love your posts you are so passionate about the stupidest details. Not a bad thing.

Not really. I mean I have gotten into this on the Spurs board.
Im sure you guys know that during the whole Lamar holding out on contract negotiations, our board and the G.B got blown up by some Spurs fan as well as other fans claiming that they were a lock to win this year.
Even on our board when peps would post about "What if we win this year" or "Will be win more titles than the Cs", or your board for example. Hemingway We have one of the all time great teams. There was a lot of post everywhere about certain fans claiming there teams is already locked for the finals.............. Me........ I could careless.

The way I see it is a lot can happen in a season, specially when we get closer to the playoffs. Injuries, chemistry, trades etc plays a huge role, so how can anybody sit there and forsee the future. Why just because you went out and got R.J or R-test or Sheed that makes you a favorite, how about wait a few games, how about wait till midseason.

Most of these Dbag writers who also happen to be homers of their own favorite team write all these garbage articles expressing their own interest, what they feel is right or wrong. In this case this idiot writes he doesnt want to speak on R-test but he ranks the defending champs as third.
He claims you guys should be ranked in 4th because you guys are lacking a backup P.G.
Oh so let me get this straight the Cavs are solid and stacked in every position. How about their S.F position, how about their bench?

Lets take the Spurs for example Duncan, Parker, and Manu. wasnt Parker injured this summer. How healthy will Manu be when he returns. Is R.J going to work in Pops lineup? How about their bench? So they go and get a kid (Blair) in the second round with the 37 pick and he is the golden pick that every team overlooked but the Spurs didnt and he is suppose to be their ace in the whole. Its not like this draft was stacked like the 96 draft, or the 03 where there was a pool of talent and somehow Balir dropped to the second and was picked late. This draft sucked, it had to be one of the weakest drafts in the NBA history.

All I can say is, and Im sure a lot of vet fan and posters can agree with me is that lets wait and allow our teams play and see where we stand by midseason before we start claiming whos the champs and whos not before a game has even been played. All these articles are basically writers blowing smoke up our arses as well as trying to sell a stroy.

One thing the writer of the article didn't mention is the addition of M. Daniels. Daniels is a huge pick up IMO because he is a solid player and can play multiple positions. By getting Daniels, we allow Pierce and Ray to get some rest.

I just don't understand all this uproar about being placed 4th in a pre-season prediction magazine. Do you realize that this happens virtually every year, you guys act like they/he picked you 15th or something. :P I wouldn't get so bent over this as some of your key players are coming off injuries{Garnett} and the East definitley isn't some crap heap as it was 2 years ago. Get off the soapbox and get back on the grind.

I also think the Daniels pickup is as important as Sheed. We only had House contributing off the bench in the backcourt. Daniels not only gives us another backcourt contributor, offensively and defensively, but he also allows House to play off the ball when they're on the floor together.

I honestly agree with the Spurs being number one. Don't forget that the Spur didn't have Ginobili for about 40 games last year and still ended up making the playoffs finishing third place in the West. Now with Ginobili healthy and with the addition of Richard Jefferson and Antonio Mcdyss, i would put them first place.

For Cleveland, I can see Shaq and Lebron pick and roll destroying the other teams defense. With the addition of anthony parker, they add three point shooting. Moon and Leon Powe are decent pick ups as well.

For the Lakers, i'm not sure how Ron Artest is going to fit in. He can do more harm than good. But i would place them at second place.

The celts should e in third place. If Garnett comes back healthy and if Rasheed and tone down all the technical fouls, the celts can cause a lot of damage. Not to mention is daniels is added as well.
