We should just start making game threads for Peoria. Theyre more exciting than this. Also watch for Milton Bradley to go on a tear now that we are out of contention.

The Bradley hate is just irrational. He's been a lot better in the 2nd half. It wasn't his fault we lost yesterday. We all continue to salivate over Theriot at least as a hitter, (ironically most of us hated Pierre, too) but just despise Milton Bradley.

And Josh Willingham just entered the Cub killer hall of fame. 1-0 Nationals on a sac-fly. Could have been a lost worse though.

Milton homered, so maybe he's finding his power now.

I have no hate towards Milton. I just stated that knowing the Cubs luck our prized off-season acquisition will start hitting when we dont need it. I like his effort on D and solid OBP. He just needs to hit.
Same with Fukudome. Gotta love the production and if he gives you a near .400 obp and bats .280 or better you gotta be happy about it...just not what you expect from a 12 mil player.
I dont blame either player for being overpaid. I blame Hendry and to their credit both Bradley and Fukudome have IMO contributed more than Soriano.

I couldn't disagree more. Fukudome's .859 OPS is the 4th best among all major league centre fielders. Only Carlos Beltran, Torii Hunter and Matt Kemp have been better hitters. He's had a great season. He's not overpaid at all compared to the market rates for his position. There aren't that many guys that can hit well and play CF, which is why even mediocre players like Rowand and Wells are extremely rich.
If he keeps up this production for the rest of his deal, he'll more than have earned his contract. Of all the problems we have this year, I'm just surprised you're unhappy with Kosuke.
