Foye was the player in the trade that when I looked at stats I was
not that crazy about. Since then I've warmed a bit thinking he has
a chance to be a positive contributor for us.
I think Miller is going to be excellent for us. He was the player
we talked about for a couple years as a potential trade target.

A lot of what we call 'thought' is just mental activity

Gil - maybe shouldn't be considered a breakout since he's already been
a 2nd team all-NBA, but few seem to believe he'll ever be that again.
Haywood - he'll get the minutes (I think) and he's been better
than most realized before, and I think he's gotten better during
his imposed year off last year, and he's hungry.
from the list - N1
Agreed
GA because he will be a more rounded Gil them we have ever seen. A leader. A PG.. A Closer.
Haywood is rip for a solid year. 12-14+ pts and 10+ rbs with several multi block games and several 20 + pt games.
CB will also have a great year. He dropped some weight. Now that there is enough talent around him, he can go back to being tough juice ... the glue guy.
GA will be the biggest break out players tough.
Also worth noting. Nick will look more consistent in the catch and shoot. Nick being consistent would be considered a break out.
I expect improvement and solid play from the rest of the team.

I don't think he gets enough minutes or shots to average 20 pts/gm. If there is an injury or he gets hot, he could have some 20+ point games. If he is in the rotation I think he will be in a Roger Mason like role, although fewer 3s. So he would probably average 6 to 8 shots a game.

Re: Which Wiz player will breakout this year?
I still haven't cast a vote. I actually think this team could be too deep for any single player to "break out", at least from a statistical standpoint. The two guys I'm really interested in seeing, though, are Foye and Blatche. If those two can be consistent contributors on both ends of the floor - regardless of what their stats are - then a lot of our problems will have been solved.
