Re: Question About Shaq Trade To Cleveland
A resolution was reached in regards to Ben Wallace, but not Pavlovic.
Wallace was bought-out of his contract after the Suns waived his physical.
They haven't done the same with Pavlovic which continues to leave open the possibility of the deal falling through.
I REALLY want to see Shaq/LeBron next year and I would HATE it if the deal were to fall through.
Each day that nothing happens with Pavlovic makes me nervous because technically and officially, the deal isn't done because they've done nothing with him so far and I can't figure out why on earth they haven't waived his physical.

To back up my point:
http://www.nba.com/celtics/news/blog/inside-front-office.html
The trade is NOT done yet!
Come on Kerr, do something about Pavlovic to complete the damn trade!
Reporting and Physicals. One final topic that's discussed on the trade call is how long each player has to report to his new team, and whether the trade will be dependent on each player passing a physical. The collective bargaining agreement gives players several days to report to their new team, but the teams may agree to provide even more time, especially over the summer. In any event, the trade is not officially complete, and no player may suit up for his new team in a game or practice, until all players report to their new teams and pass a physical exam. (Sometimes the teams agree to waive the physical exam requirement.) In addition, players near the ends of their contracts and those players' agents are required to sign forms certifying that there are no undisclosed "side deals" involving new contracts as part of the trade. As a result of the reporting deadlines and required physicals and certifications, a trade usually doesn't become "official" until long after it is announced at a press conference. For example, this past summer we traded for Kevin Garnett on July 31st. The trade call ended just before 1PM that afternoon, and Garnett immediately flew into town for a press conference that evening with Ray Allen and Paul Pierce. However, the trade was not officially complete until nearly a week later, on August 7th, at 6:00 PM, when the league informed both teams that all conditions (including physicals and certifications) had been met.

Re: Question About Shaq Trade To Cleveland
Ugh, I've told you the trade is complete. He reported and it wasn't demanded he take a physical.
We could not have waived Wallace if the trade was not completed. By defacto the suns have waived their rights to the physical when they released Wallace. Pav's was told a physical was not required and his agent was given permission to look at other teams because he was told he would not be a Sun.
Just let it die. Reading your threads of the same dull topic that has already been answered by everyone; but you won't just accept it is a sign of insanity. It's like you were handed a round block and insist on jamming it through the square hole while everyone else has already finished their puzzle years ago and graduated to being adults.

Thanks for the info, Traxxe!
I hope you're right when it comes to this because I'm shocked nobody revealed what you just did in regards to Pavlovic.
Thanks!

Clearly Pavlovic doesn't need to pass a physical. The Suns released Ben Wallace and he signed in Detroit, that clearly does have something to do with this. Where is this coming from TD??? You usually act like you don't have any screws loose?

Re: Question About Shaq Trade To Cleveland
^^ He's having an identity crisis - The Diesel was traded from Phoenix to Cleveland, but clearly the suns forum is superior to the Cavs one.. he's trying to come up any kind of reason for the trade to fall through so he doesn't have to switch forums Haha
He can't even change his name from the Diesel to anything because both incoming players are going to be bought out rofl

Traxxe, if you don't mind, I just have one more question for you and I ask this question in a VERY polite way, I'm not trying to be rude or to challenge you or anything like that.
My question is:
1) What other news have you revealed on these message boards before the media did?
Like, Ihateginobili broke the news of Shaq to Cleveland before the media did.
Dbdynsty confirmed the firing of Porter before the media did, and broke the news of Richardson and Shaq to Phoenix.
What news have you revealed on this website before the media did?
Again, I ask you this in a VERY polite manner, I'm not trying to be rude or anything.
Thanks!

Re: Question About Shaq Trade To Cleveland
Surely you didn't need an insider or what not to tell you what we've all told you since the beginning of this thread?
The trade was as good as done when the Wallace buy-out was completed. No FO is stupid enough to forget that these contracts are legal documents and you can't just buy out some other team's partly traded contracts. The trade was never two deals, one for Wallace and one for Pavs. If the deal was to be done it had to be for both otherwise the deal wouldn't have gone through because of the difference in numbers.
nevetsov, you're probably right about the identity crisis.

Traxxe isn't as in tune as guys like IHG and DB. Those two had information either from someone in the FO or someone very very close to the FO so they broke news that was straight from the inside. If I'm not mistaken Traxxe is in the fitness and training industry and just hears chatter from the Suns training staff. Not that it isn't helpful and appreciated but Traxxe's info is second hand.

Diesel, if it helps you sleep at night, I just called David Griffin and he said the trade is done. End of story. Are you happy now?

Re: Question About Shaq Trade To Cleveland
dont worry about Traxxe's info, he's given me enough info to vouch for his knowledge
Just because he doesn't 'break' news, doesn't mean he isn't an insider
And Diesel, WOW, I've never seen someone so obsessed over an already done deal...haha

Re: Question About Shaq Trade To Cleveland
Depends on how you define breaking news. I knew of the Shaq trade though like others I was purposefully misled by being told it was Chicago. I knew about the Amare situation. I know about the Pav situation now and have told you a while ago what was happening. I mentioned before hand that the Suns were going to sign Taylor. I also informed everyone that Earl Clark was our guy before the draft and that he was going and the only exception would be if Jennings dropped then we would make a spur of the moment decision.
I didn't break these stories but heard about them early enough to comment on them before it was made public.
The only think I have broken on this board was that Turk in fact wasn't signing with Portland and was going to Toronto. I broke that before anyone else but it didn't matter here.
I've never claimed to be some all-seeing insider. I am humble and can provide a little extra insight into things.
I'm not going to comment about how I hear things or what connections I may or may not have. I've done that with Tastic and I'm content to leave it at that.
If I hear something significant before hand and I feel no one will be punished for my giving you guys a heads up I'll post it. There are a couple of things I have to sit on because it might betray the confidence and relationship between entities, etc.
Anyway, I'm happy to do what I can because I love the Suns.

And i just talked to Miss Cleo, she said " it be a done deal mon", i mean she is no longer in the spotlight, on tv and making lots of money, now she is a crack hoe over on Vanburen, and offered me a deal i couldnt refuse for only 10 dollars, but her word and predictions are pure gold and the absolute truth. So you see the Shaq thing is over, ITS BEEN CONFIRMED, Damn, i need a nap, she can still move for an old broad.
