Does anyone have a picture of 03-04 Kobe?

I remember the first season that Shaq left, Kobe bulked up a lot. He said he weighed around 240 that season. I don't think he was kidding. It was in 04-05 did he get leaner.

Isn't 04-05 the first season after Shaq left? I really don't remember him bulking up to 240 though. Might check kb24.com, they got his pics/videos from all the seasons.

Kobe bulked up significantly during the 3peat I think. That's when he had some short stints at the small forward position.

Didn't he bulk up the year before we had Malone/Payton? I thought people were saying he slimmed down for his hearings.

He was pretty big in the 02/03 season. and he had a great season individually that year.

In 03/04 (Payton/Malone season) was when he was flying back and forth a lot for the trials and he lost A LOT of wait.

04/05 was the first year without Shaq and he bulked up to about 235 to carry the load. This is the season youre talking about Patterns. The extra weight actually slowed him down a little and he ended up getting injured and tried to play through it... We had a horrible season as Rudy T also bailed on us and we ended up losing like18 of our last 19 games... (we were in the hunt for the 7 seed before that)

05/06 is when he lost weight again and was around 215-220 and he got back a lot of his quickness and athleticism and ended up averaging 35ppg...

He might've lost some athleticism when he put on all the extra muscle, but he was still explosive enough to get that monster dunk on dwight

, plus he was playing on a bum ankle.

wasnt it the 2005/06 season where he needed to consistently bully his way to the basket that he was 240 lbs?

Coming into the 2003-04 season, after getting our 4-peat blocked my the Spurs, he came in Bulked Up.

After the rape allegations and constant travels to Denver for the hearings, his bulk started going away throughout the season.

Edit: I think..hold on, let me call up Kobe and ask, brb. :lol:

Edit 2: Wasnt that the same season he came back with tats?
