Lamar Odom scouting report?

Post#1 » by Naan » Tue Sep 1, 2009 1:30 am

I was wondering if you fans could fill me in on Lamar's tendencies and the positions he plays and defends. Thanks.

Lulz. I was expecting something like Kobe > Odom > Jordan.

Assets
A highly agile and coordinated big-man. Has the skill-set and fluidity to play point guard but the size, power, and athleticism to excel at power forward. A great rebounder and passer and underrated defender. Plays team-first ball.

Flaws
Sometimes plays too selflessly and could stand to take over more as a shooter. Turovers have long been an issue, but he's improving in that area. He's been a little bit injury-prone throughout his career.

IMO Lamar's been a warrior while a Laker.

He's a great passer:

He plays pf. He loves the finger role. Can hit the 3 and defends pf's better then he does sf's and C's. Can post up with his speed and basically is one of those extremely rare players who can do every single aspect of basketball possible. He is very unselfish almost to a fault. inconsistant though.

Sasha should of shot that ball. It would have been funnier if he hit a 3, maybe nobody would have noticed lol.
