Where do you think amare will be in 2010-2011 season?

I personally think amare will get a contract extension with the suns worth close to a max deal after he posts careers highs in most of the categories

I hope we sign and trade him so he doesn't walk for nothing

I believe his strongest likelihood is him staying in PHX, and it boils down to $$$$. He wants the most he can possibly get and Phoenix can offer that. Will they is a different story. I could see him in NY or MIA as well though. Home state or the glitz and glam that comes with New York.

which is badass by the way. I just went to NYC for the first time two weeks ago. Saw the garden. That was sweet.

$18 million in salary reduction is nothing?

Amare will probably get his salary demand but not for the length he seeks. I don't see NY paying $21 million a year for him with little talent surrounding him and they gonna need to spend on talent and not just one or two players.

I think that if Amare can prove he can play and show he can put up reasonable stats (22/8) we'll give him a max contract.

for 22/8 I wouldn't give him a max contract... 26/10 is more like it! :D

Yeah...he doesn't deserve max for anything under 25 and 10. No way in hell. We have zero rebounders so he HAS to get 10 per game or more. You know he's gonna score...so the rebounding is the key to his max extension. If he can get 10 per game that means he took it upon himself to work on the glass. Something he hasn't really had to do with Marion and Shaq flanking him.
