Time to Pull the Chord on Brees?

Post#1 » by PR07 » Mon Oct 8, 2007 4:09 am

I've waited for 5 weeks now, and he has yet to show any sign of life...should I still hold onto him?

depends, what's your other options? are you playing in a 12 men league? if so, you should drop him. he's drew brees. he's serviceable.

So you had Bulger and Brees? Sucks for you.

I told a friend that if he dropped Brees I'd pick him up right away. I wouldn't drop him.

If this continues after the next two or three weeks, I'd play matchups the rest of the season.

Try trading him for a position you need. He has no receivers to pass it to only Colston and Henderson, both very inconsistent. He isn't a great fantasy QB this season.

After this last stinker, I have officially given up on him. If he would have played even average I would have been undefeated. At home after a bye, and still has a bad game.
