Kings: Worst NBA team of all time!

Do you think that Evans can help out, or do you think that the Kings will be the WORST team in NBA history this year?

haha WTF? Kings has a chance being the worst? Of all time?

Not by a long shot. You expect the Kings to be worse than:

72-73 Philadelphia 76ers (9-73)
97-98 Denver Nuggets (11-71)

93-94 Dallas Mavericks (12-70)
86-87 Los Angeles Clippers (12-70)
04-05 Atlanta Hawks (13-69)
96-97 Vancouver Grizzlies (14-68)
82-83 Houston Rockets (14-68)
07-08 Miami Heat (15-67)
00-01 Chicago Bulls (15-67)
99-00 Los Angeles Clippers (15-67)
96-97 Boston Celtics (15-67)
95-96 Vancouver Grizzlies (15-67)
91-92 Minnesota Timberwolves (15-67)
88-89 Miami Heat (15-67)
81-82 Cleveland Cavaliers (15-67)
80-81 Dallas Mavericks (15-67)
70-71 Cleveland Cavaliers (15-67)
67-68 San Diego Rockets (15-67)

Honestly, do you think the Kings are going to suck this hard more than these teams? Worse than those 6ers that won 9 games?

Heck last season, we suffered various injuries, had an incompetent coach(s), major roster makeover and etc. I'm pretty sure this year, we will win at least 20+ wins. At least.

Why did you have to add "All Time"?

The post could have simply be Worst NBA team...and you'd have a valid reason for the post and can talk about it. All-time? That's just silly

People who are just waking up to the rebuilding, well that has gone on for 5 years now. KMart, Garcia, Hawes, Thompson, Greene, Evans, Casspi, Brockman. All the teams that have had to rebuild through the drafts like the Portland, Chicago, or New Orleans. Even the Kings when Petrie the first took over they were rebuilt over years. Petrie used his draft picks to trade for CWebb and Bibby but this time he already has Evans and Thompson so they will be the faces. Any of the guys Petrie has drafted except Brockman could put up 20 a game if they got enough touches. They hit rock bottom last year they are on their way up this year.

With a quality vet coach the rebuilding is actually mostly done. There will be a couple tweaks but the foundation is there already. Trust in Petrie, in rebuilding there are very few better. Yes the last few years have been bad but they were rebuilding.

I think the Kings will win at least 10 games. I think the Kings could win 25 games or more. So my answer is no, I don't think the 2009/2010 KIngs will be the worst NBA team in history.

Some of the L's last season were due to bad coaching decisions. A few of the L's were due to a lack of a player that can draw a double team. Tyreke Evans matched agaisnt the other PG's in the association should require a double on a lot of nights. This should help the Kings break down the defense of the other teams.

What makes you ask this question?

The Kings should actually take a step or two up, but they could definitely be on par with what they did last year if Westphal doesn't mix with these players.

IMO

I don't care how dead the KINGS board is this particular thread should be locked !
I have seen far better & even more useful topics get locked or changed for less .
Again this topic serves no purpose at this time we have not played a single regular season game & also even if we had this type of discussion it shouldn't even have merritt to truly discuss it until at least 30-50 games into the actual season !

This is one of the stupidest threads IMO that i have ever read on the KINGS board

be like Gordon Ramsey & shut it down !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, instead of bashing the dead horse, someone could always take the initiative to try to deflect the thread to a more productive angle. OK...I'll start...

With less than a month to go before train camps start, most of the major off season moves are essentially done. So in most cases we can see what the core will be for the rest of the West. Looking at what is there at this point, how do you see the West shaping up? Who screwed up the most with off season moves? Who helped themselves out the most? Who do you think has put themselves in position to be the surprise team out of the West and who will not live up to their hype? Finally, where do you see the Kings falling into this mix?
