Packers/Titans

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Wed Sep 2, 2009 1:50 pm

With Flynn still out Brohm will play most of the game. Jennings won't play. It would be nice for the first team offense to end on a positive note for the series or two they will play. Same with the defense. Matthews should get some extended playing time and I expect Raji to get quite a few snaps as well. Harris and Woodson getting the night off. In fact MM told them they didn't have to even make the trip, something he's not done before with non injured players.

With Jackson out, Wynn, Lumpkin and Sutton should each get quite a few carries.

Hopefully no one important gets hurt, that's the main thing.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I'd like to see more push from Raji too. He looked good against Buffalo, didn't show much vs. Zona. Want to see him blowing people up tonight.

And yeah, Matthews/Barnett too.

I thought he did okay at best vs. Arizona, at least he was doubled a majority of the time. Against Buffalo he was an absolute monster though.

I am pumped to see Matthews as well, I think he could be very good.

I'll be keeping a close eye on Kenny Britt to see if he's worth a waiver pickup in my fantasy league :D

Sure, Raji flashed his raw power against Buffalo, but he did a much better job against the run against Arizona, who ran a lot more stretch plays than Buffalo. I thought that on many occasions, he did a fantastic job occupying two blockers, staying square, and getting down the line to either make a tackle, be close to making one, or giving another guy an opportunity to do so. What I didn't see in the Arizona game was the explosiveness as a pass rusher. I can't wait to see Matthews in there.

Nashville - It's a very pleasant early evening in the Music City. Not as hot as last year -- temps are in the 70s.

Here are the scratches for the Packers:

CB Charles Woodson
S Charlie Peprah
CB Will Blackmon
CB Al Harris
RB Brandon Jackson
S Aaron Rouse
WR Greg Jennings
DL Justin Harrell

Lineup changes:

* James Jones starts for Jennings;
* Korey Hall for John Kuhn at FB as part of their rotation;
* Tramon Williams for Harris;
* Brandon Underwood for Woodson.

We'll be back closer to game time.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Brohm looked really uncomfortable out of the shot gun. He took three steps back and it seemed like he started to panic.

You know what would be cool? Not allowing Vince Young to do the only thing he does well.
