Pretty interesting. They have us beating the Vikings in the divisional round and the Packers in the Conference Finals before losing to the Patriots in a Super Bowl XX rematch.

They're picking three teams in the NFC North to make the playoffs.

Can't say I agree with that at all. Two, yes. Three, no.

SI not the only site thats predicting da Bears go to da Superbowl http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/10009742/Top-10-bold-NFL-predictions-for-2009

Even as a Bears fan I'm still not sold on them being in Super Bowl or winning division just yet, IMO front four still needs to have more pressure on QB before I can think of them as true Superbowl contenders

But this time he did it 5-10 lbs lighter, so in theory, it was quicker.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised by the Front 4 so far.

It's the corner backs I have a problem with. Our pass defense sucks in general

That guy has no idea what he's talking about.

Fox Sports has some really bad columnists. You have Charley Rosen who covers the NBA. I despise Charley Rosen. You have this guy who doesn't seem to know what he's talking about.
"The trio of Ray Rice, Willis McGahee and Le'Ron McClain is arguably the best in the league" Wha?

The only guy I don't mind is Ken Rosenthal for baseball but I don't really like him either.

Well, I don't really see it, but hopefully they will be good this season.

The defense frightens me.

exactly. A Superbowl team generally has a pro bowler or 2 on the D line, not to mention one or two in the secondary, at least honorable mentions. The Bears? About the extent of it is that they have a gimpy Tommie Harris. And then Lance Briggs. Not. Gonna. Cut. It. Unless Cutler can defeat big time defense 3 games in a row in playoffs more than the Bears can stop big time offense. This defense can be beaten. We've seen it. And I'm not buying an Urlacher Rennaisance either.

I've always viewed this season as a stepping stone. Certainly not expecting to reach the Superbowl.

A first round win would be nice.

Yep I'll be happy if they make the playoffs. Having Cutler should make it 'easier' to get better, but they still have to get a lot better. They have some age issues. Extending Urlacher when he was already under contract was and is a bonehead move imo.

I'm more optimistic for a Super Bowl next year even with an aging defense. I think Cutler will force the Bears to add a star Wide Receiver like an Anquan Boldin. This offseason could be a capless offseason though and I think that affects us in a negative way since we don't like to spend money.
