Yeah that's taking it too far. Even though Beasley did make one scary on edge suicidal tweet right after he posted the particular picture.

Well if you're going to make a point, at least make sure you're correct about it. There is no proof that AR is 7 foot so until a credible source comes out and says that I'm not going to take it seriously. Beasley is 6'8.5 and AR is 6'10.25 .

Here's your source, I mean you could've googled it yourself, before anything.

When it comes to having a breakout season, Anthony Randolph is well on his way. He says he grew almost an inch to his current height of 7-feet and added 15 pounds since last season ended.

"So again we have W fans saying Randolph stands close to 7'0 but Beasley is 6'7. If you're going to say Beasley is 6'7, then Randolph is 6'9. If you're going to say Randolph is 6'10.25 then Beasley is 6'8.5. You can't use one measurement with one players shoes on (like you did with Randolph) then use Beasleys barefoot measurements. That makes no sense at all."

Randolph came in at 6'9 flat without shoes and Beasley came in at 6'7 flat without shoes. If Randolph really did grow another inch as every single writer who covers the Warriors have said, he's 6'10. But if Beasley is 6'9 than Randolph is 7'0. In the end they are both tweeners, just different types. They both have an equal chance at being successful.

My point was that the poster who made that comment shouldn't be using Beasleys barefoot height while using Randolphs height IN shoes. That is an unfair and makes no sense. And the only reason why I said something is because I've seen numerous GS fans make that statement, it wasn't just him.

This thread has turned into minutiae and really insensitive comments. It should probably be locked...

Wasnt this comparison done not too long ago and Beasley won, now Randolph is killing Beasley in the poll.....probably has a lot to do with the recent incident.

you guys really think thats gonna make that big an impact on the court?...now that the full story has come out and how Beasley was in there because of last years incident with Chalmers and Arthur..the way ESPN and other news sites covered the story made it look way more dramatic than it really was.

I expect Beasley to win the SF starting spot for the Heat this season and put up something like 16pts 6rebs..we'll see.

and by the way, Warriors were the 2nd highest scoring team in the league, played at a very high pace..they werent very good and arent pressured to play D as much as Spoelstra does with the Heat, i would to see what type of numbers Beasley would put up on a team like that.

i am not a fan of either guy or either team....... but i am more scared of going up against Randolph, while i am not really scare of going up against even a healthy Beasley. i really don't look forward going up against a guy who has a standing reach of a center, the athletism of Amare and skills of a guy like Bosh...... this guy is going to be scary when he gets some experience.

Funny you brought up D cuzz even while playing in way less minutes and not being pressured to play defence he still out boarded got more blocks and steals than Beasley.

So just imagine if he was being pressured to play defence and got the same amount of minutes, how much better he would be and how much better his stats would look then Beasleys.

He still put up better defensive stats in less minutes. he played in a fast pace system but played less minutes so that should even out so he still had more boards steal blocks then Beasley.

Beasley on the Warriors? A 20/10 threat on a nightly basis.

Too late, Saying that Randolphs roof is higher than beasley is absurd, theres no way that Randolph becomes better than Beasley in the long run, All i can see AR becmoing better than beasley in is Defense, But beasley can still get bette on that as well. Beasley is definitely the better player.

Obviously you didn't read the thread. Beasley wouldn't have played at all for Neille. Nellie would've stuck him on the end of the bench and the Warriors fans would've claimed him a martyr.

Anywho...wake me up when either a non-Miami fan argues for Beasley, or when AR is crushing it mid season. Whichever comes first.

Thanks.

I would take Beasley and I'm a non heat fan. Beasley is the safer pick and has a ton of upside as well.

Didn't the Warriors trade Beasley to the knicks?

Beasley was the second option on a team that only has one player that can actually score the ball. He was put into a situation where he had almost no competition and arguably the best player in the NBA as his partner. He is in the perfect situation to succeed.

14 and 5 in 25 minutes as a 19/20 yr old rookie on a playoff team ain't that bad. He IS in the perfect situation to succeed and I'm sure he won't disappoint.
