Post#1 » by ACE_reppin_ATL » Thu Sep 3, 2009 1:30 pm

Estaban Batitsa is killin again over in the FIBAs...He's puttin up 17.8ppg and 11.7reb...I know he was smashing guys in practice and stuff and I know the language difficulties was a big barrier, but man, I hated this dude didn't work out when we had him...He's strong as an ox inside and on the boards and he is tough as nails...

Last time I saw an Estaban highlight here in the ATL was when Shaq was barreling over him and EB getting the foul every time.
Someone probably has the video of that. He and Jason Collier (RIP) were just in the way on the court at that time.
The early days of Mike Woodson.....

estaban bautista is the best player in uragray, it would make sense that he is killin it when he plays for his team. it also speaks to the relative weakness of the basketball program in Uragray.

i saw a game recently, Brazil vs Uruguay....... Varejao dominated Batista. Varejao looked like Bill Russel and Batista was a foul machine.

Someone on the team has to put up numbers like that. I feel he's a very skilled at rebounding but he lacks the size and strength to produce at the NBA level. Glad to see him doing well.

I remember back in the Fiba Championship tournament in Las Vegas before the Olympics and Batista looked like and All-Star. Reason: he is----------------On Uruguay. Like someone already mentioned earlier, Batista in Uruagusy is a Top 5 level talent in America he is a Bottom 5. :dontknow:
