I think we match,we are close enough to the lux tax to be able to ditch that kind of salary by the trade deadline, esp, once teams all start fighting over the expiring contracts.

To the other 'idiot team' in the NBA....lol. Figures. I am going to ripped the T'Wolves a new one man.
They have absolutely obligerated that team after McHale left. Kahn is clueless and has no vision.
He is their answer to former GM Larry Harris making that stupid Rubio/Flynn pick and wasting those two lottery picks and completely destroying that young nucelus.
When they had the 4th pick I had envisioned them being a budding dynasty in the West and a team to look out for. Then they moved Foye of all players along with Mike Miller (ho hum) to the Wizards
for the 5th pick they did not need unless it was to take Curry or Harden Derozan or move down to take Thabeet even...
They did just the opposite!!! First off they moved Mayo last year for Kevin Love which was a mistake that will go down in infamy there when their careers are finished...Then, they draft a guy knowing good and well he would be tough to get out of his agreement like the Bucks drafted Yi even when they knew he would not come here and said it publicly!
Idiots...I hate to be so harsh to this squad only because this is the team of a great NBATV announcer who is the best going Rick Kamala who I am a huge fan of, but come on. You do not trade Randy Foye if you are the T'Wolves...Rubio is not better then him.
But anyways, I will go to that board later to discuss this...more. But do a sign and trade for Rodney Carney or Corey Brewer and get this over with now!

Unbelievable....Kahn should be fired.
Why did they let McHale go? Any momentum they might have gained to lure a top free agent there now is gone because of the incompetancy in the moves they have made after finally getting two legit borderline All Star's in Foye and Jefferson and an impact glue and complementary piece in Love who is actaully a great trading chip later on. And they had a great young bench that all seem to like each other and got along that was totally destroyed!
I would not have moved Mayo last year. That was a mistake. Kevin Love is good, but not that good or impactful even though I know McHale liked him. I would Love Kevin on a team like the Bucks, but not on that team. Mayo would have been the bomb next to Randy Foye with Al Jefferson...Some GM's need to just go somewhere and take a chill pill and sit down! Once again they can't target a core and leave them alone...
You keep Foye/Jefferson/Gomes/Brewer together to forge some chemistry and continuity and find a two guard. You don't move Foye or Telfair if you are them! Leave them alone! You could have given the minutes you gave to Miller to Carney...oh forget it. LOL...I've got enough dealing with our own team...
Unbelivable...the moves they have made for the sake of making moves. If I was a member of their fan base I would be incensed!
Now you are going to waste money on Sessions now and tie him up for 3-4 years to play with Flynn? Uugghh!Re: Sessions Update:Knicks a no-go per Hahn/Chubby (pg 250)

Rubio might not be better than Foye at the moment but he is worth alot more than Foye. No way the Wizards would have done that trade had they known Rubio would fall to #5.
You guys get Telly Hughes, Wolves (might) get Sessions. I would be fine with adding Carney(S&T) to that deal.

*Wow and now you are ranting about Telfair? He is a scrub. Did you even watch any Wolves games last year? He was far and away the worst starting PG in the league.

If it's in the 4/$16.6 range, I'd love a match, but I doubt Hammond will. Every move he's made this off season has been to the contrary of bringing Sessions back.

Just don't even reply to MBBOT. We learned to ignore him a long time ago.

PaulPressey I am surprised that this late in the game you are still on the fence about Sessions. I have said all along...he is useless if he is not at the right price. Teams have made that clear!
I am flabbergasted that some of these so called knoweledgable fans in here can't or won't see that by now. I think for some of you it is pride. Admit you are wrong and feel better about yoursleves...
If any team gives him anything in length past the 2010 offseason and God forbid the impending lock-out Summer of 2011...when the landscape of the entire league might shift, they are nuts! Not him.
There is a reason why Wade, LeBron, and others have their contracts ending in 2010! Have you asked yourselves that? Agents with long term planning like Chubby Wells should have seen this all coming...I blame him more for this, and I blame Sessions for not letting him go weeks ago!
So I do not feel bad for Sessions anymore...I hope it ends well for him. He seems like a great young man, teamate, and ok player. But guys worse them him have been signed already. I do not think he started off right in the first place playing hardball with Hammond! Point guards cannot play hardball in free agency like 'bigs' or shooting guards can. And if they are even remotely good team don't let it get that far. Sessions has learned his lesson. Chubby should know he is not Mo Williams and Charlie Bell under former GM Larry Harris. Hammond obviously is going to avoid that mistake.
You fans in here who continue to rip Hammond and the Bucks are delusional and should put your pipes down! What has he done!? If he helped the Bucks make the playoffs in the weak ass East when Redd went down then that is another thing and a feather in his cap and a bullet in his holster come this free agency period. But he flopped down the stretch in a contract year!
So did Charlie but he has sense enough to sign that deal with th Pistons and not play hardball so what the hell is Sessions doing????????????? Come back and take the QO and go sit down Sessions and become unrestricted next year...He played hardball at the wrong time and should have taken the Bucks first offer! Dont blame hammond! Hammond was right! This delay proves it...

If he takes the QO he's still an RFA next year, while sitting on the bench on a team crowded with guards. So, Sessions is playing hardball by looking for a chance to get paid and actually play on a team that wants him? Shame on him! Shame!

I assume you know who they drafted. With Rubio a no-show, that leaves them with an unproven rookie and two tired old vets (Atkins/Brown) who couldn't be expected to contribute much. Its no surprise they want to add another PG, and really who else other than Sessions would be a better option? It also won't hurt Flynn having someone to fight for the starting spot.

If it doesn't hurt Flynn why does it hurt Jennings? Yeah yeah Ridnour might start and vie for minutes, but eeew.

Ha I know of the infamous MBBOT, I read this board quite a bit.

I thought that if he took the QO he would become a UFA next summer. Ben Gordon just did that, didn't he?

I think this contract is right at the end of Hammond's limit for Sessions. My personal opinion is that Kohl wants Sessions back, and he'll approve this contract.

Re: Sessions Update:Woelfel says Ramon to sign T-Wolves OSheet
I think the Bucks matching or not (if this report is true) will boil down to the number of years. If the offer turns out to be for only 2 years with a possible "team option" beyond that, then I see the Bucks matching. They will ultimately have to deal with replacing Ridnour after this season and Sessions on a short deal is not a bad option at the likely price. Sessions on such a contract can also be used as a trade asset if Jennings goes nuclear and Roko has indeed improved.
I'm indifferent. If Sessions returns, I don't anticipate a large role for him so it may be hard to justify the 3.7 mil or so that he may make in year one. If Sessions leaves, I think the Bucks can easily cover for his absence by playing Roko and Meeks at the 1 and 2. If Elson and Sharpe can be dumped somehow, I'd be content with bringing Ramon back at 3.7 mil.

I figured a team not planning on 2010 riches would step up and say, "This is ridiculous. This is a good player going for cheap. Let's get him."
I thought it'd eventually be OKC, but whatever.

It's hard for Wise to justify 3.7 million dollars for Sessions's role?
This was the guy who was desperately trying to justify Gadzuric's 6+ million dollars to be a third string/emergency center for about 3 years.

3.7M should be reasonably easy to match. Very fair imo.

3.7 should be matched by this team. We're in no position to let quality young players walk for under valued contracts.
